You know ... I was thinking about taking the over/under on wins for the Cs (57 I believe it was) and didn't do it. Damn it all! This team may not have played the highest quality of opponents, but the road record is still pretty damn good. Christmas day should be interesting down in Orlando. Also, I'm trying to understand how the Fakers played 17 of their first 21 games at home this season.
I despised most LA teams while I lived out there (left LA in 87 after about 18 months) and was a Celtics fan even back then, the only Boston team I really supported as I found most other sports boring back then. The only thing I really support from LA now is UCLA, as I loved that campus when I walked around it when I was 12.
Celtics end Orlando's 8-game playoff winning streak by running up a 20-point lead (in Orlando), then hanging on as the Magic comeback falls short, 92-88. I guess having your big three healthy can make a difference.
It's kinda scary that they seemed all year to take their foot off the pedal late in games. They did it in game 1 against Cleveland and lost. Luckily, they held on last night.
I thought game 4 showed that the Magic are capable of winning by being more aggressive on the drive and hitting 3's. I think the first 3 games were blowouts because the Magic had no idea what they were doing. That said, you live by the 3... Celts in 5 or 6 (100%)
I'm worried that the Lakers will be getting foul called every time a Celts player is in the vicinity, and Paul Pierce won't get the foul calls he typically gets. Put that together with an ailing Rondo, and game 1 looks like LA to me. I think this series goes 7 (Celts all the way)
