Benny screwed the pooch on this one.

Flukey 3rd goal, but the back line looks shaky at best tonight. Missing Kitchen at holding mid in a big way. Saragosa needs to be more active.

Saragosa looks like someone who hasn't really played in a month and a half -- which is exactly the case. Unfortunately, we're asking him to do a lot just when he's not capable of delivering much.

Kitchen isn't bringing much in central defense, and neither he nor McDonald are much of a defensive organizer.

But the real bummer is that Benny's decision to roll the dice on this match is going to significantly impact us this coming weekend. It would have been better to maximize the likelihood of taking all three points in Toronto, IMHO. Now, with the lineup we're going to have to play there, we're going to be very lucky to win in Toronto.

Have there been 85 minutes of intermission time in the hockey game? Part of the reason I've never warmed to the sport and I did sit through the 3rd period and all 4 OTs of that 1987 Caps-Islanders series.

The margins have been fixed. DCU's defense has not.

I had to check the time stamp on that 'cause I really wasn't smiling due to this craptastic upgrade.

Speed on the wings has killed us all game. Add to that the referee allowing very physical play combined with buying Corralles whining. DC looks so out of sorts once San Jose realized they would have a match here and upped the tempo.
