When I posted that I'd already deleted nineteen posts from this thread, many of which were egging trolls on. It's simpler if folks use the "report post" function rather than, say, getting in their shots and then waiting for the mod to come bail them out.

That was a good comeback.... funny too. The whole united team laughed at that joke... take a look.

Look at Chicharo laughing so hard clutching his medal standing behind that trophy.... he must have really liked your joke.

It was a good analogy though.... Spurs' win at OT is what USA's win at Azteca was. :ROFLMAO:

    to paraphrase Jurgen Klinsman:

"The win was wierd, it was dominated most of the match by one team. Then the other team wins. Sometimes things are not just and fair in football."

Yep, and you deal with it or you don't. To paraphrase Javier Aguirre "after the bad call, my team just quit."

yes, but realize it lumps US and Jamaica in the same bunch.

did you know Jamaica beat mexico! Oh my god and we never lost to jamaica.

we are now better than mexico FOREVER!!!!!!!

it was only a matter of time before we beat mexico in azteca and same with us losing to jamaica.

we just need to get over it on both ends.

time to move forward. I think US wins the next two qualifiers and we win the group outright easily.

Soooo, you're saying we should find a cartoon character that wears a yellow shirt and bring him up every time Jamaica is mentioned? You get right on that.

btw, I'm not understanding your equivalence. But, if some idiot American fans started mentioning your cartoon character, by all means Jamaica fans should go w/ what they've got. The idiot cartoon fans would have it coming.

But, I guess "Where's Waldo?" is the best you can do. "Nads" makes Mex the "No Nads", right? And who wants to lose to the Spazzos. So, you stick w/ your cartoon character.

You know for a thug and a supposed hard player, Jones goes down pretty easily every time he plays against Jamaica....

So Little Peen is riding pine and probably on his way out, no big deal, it happens. Don't be so touchy No-Nads fans.

Reading impaired? Every time someone posts a picture of a U.S. player in the new uniform, some idioto chimes in Where's Waldo? You said U.S. = Jamaica. If you're so fond of cartoons, go find a cartoon character w/ a yellow shirt.

What? as a Mexico fan, you should know that being a thug and a flopper go hand in hand. (yes, I'm saying Jones is a thug and a flopper).

It really does happen. If he sucks he should not be playing for a team like United... nothing wrong with that. He can come back to Mexico with his head held high. Some players work their entire careers in England to try and win "THE" trophy and don't get it..... this little muthafooker got it in his first season abroad while being an indispensable part of the team... Nothing to be ashamed of.

No argument. Blanco was an amazing player, underrated by non-NorthAmerica football fans, and a thug and a flopper. I think Jones is a decent player, but he and Blanco do not belong in the same conversation. Blanco in his prime was a vastly more accomplished player, thug, & flopper.
(that outside of the foot, flying goal he scored against Holland in '98 is, imo, one of the best in WC history)

You're right. Mex played both of them in the group stage. I guess in my minds eye I shifted Belgiums orangy red to orange. Great goal, though

Happened to Tim Howard (not the trophy part), think he was voted best keeper in EPL, then he's gone, it happens there. Pea is good, he'll land on his feet.
