did you know Jamaica beat mexico! Oh my god and we never lost to jamaica. we are now better than mexico FOREVER!!!!!!! it was only a matter of time before we beat mexico in azteca and same with us losing to jamaica. we just need to get over it on both ends. time to move forward. It really does happen. If he sucks he should not be playing for a team like United... nothing wrong with that. He can come back to Mexico with his head held high. Some players work their entire careers in England to try and win "THE" trophy and don't get it..... this little muthafooker got it in his first season abroad while being an indispensable part of the team... Nothing to be ashamed of.
No argument. Blanco was an amazing player, underrated by non-NorthAmerica football fans, and a thug and a flopper. I think Jones is a decent player, but he and Blanco do not belong in the same conversation. Blanco in his prime was a vastly more accomplished player, thug, & flopper. (that outside of the foot, flying goal he scored against Holland in '98 is, imo, one of the best in WC history)
You're right. Mex played both of them in the group stage. I guess in my minds eye I shifted Belgiums orangy red to orange. Great goal, though
