The only people who saw the game were those in attendance. I listened on the radio; based on that and what I read on other forums it seems that Naismith, Mirallas, and Coleman were the ones that shined. Mirallas scored two with two assists and Naismith created a lot of chances. Coleman was Graeme Sharp's MOTM bombing forward from right back. It was nice to truly destroy a poor side like this. Too many times in the last few years we struggled. (Brentford, Tamworth)
I would like to see Coleman develop his defensive skills. I think he projects long term as a RB but needs to work on the 1v1 defensive game first.
Maybe Tony Hibbert can give Coleman a few pointers on 1 vs. 1 defense. IMHO, there're few better right backs at 1 vs. 1 defending than Hibbo.
Why oh why does Moyes insist on fielding such weak teams in the League Cup?? Leeds take a 1-0 lead over the Toffees just 4 minutes into the match.
Obviously, I jinxed the Blues - come on Moyes, I will stop jinxing the team if you would just field a strong lineup! Sigh......
