I think we'll be fine with only 2 strikers. Now if one of them sucks massive balls or gets injured...
I'm not familiar with Corona's game other than the other night, could he be moved up to CF? Not sure what he's doing in Mexico but that's a possibility I would think.
No way, he and Mix were the key links from the defense to the attack against Mexico and Cuba. He is definitely not a forward and you would be sacrificing what he does exceptionally well.
I think if we played him up top, we could drop Fred into the midfield and put Gyau on the right wing.
Damn I thought Agudelos injury wasn't serious I hope he has a speedy recovery. It's Boyd's time to shine!
It's sad. Agudelo's club career is really never going to get going. He may not even return to the senior team setup for awhile.
How come there isn't any news on Agudelo's injury I looked up Google and Twitter and I only found that he didn't practice yesterday.
Thank you! I also looked all over the net and no word about Agudelo's injury. anyone with more information rather just reactions to possibilities.
Bunbury starting. Hamid, Villafana, Opara, Kitchen, Valentin, Jeffrey, Corona, Mix, Shea, Bunbury, Adu
Hamid; Valentin, Kitchen, Opara, Flores; Jeffrey, Diskerud, Corona; Adu (c), Bunbury, Shea Funny, because US Soccer Twitter should be the first to know that Flores goes by a different last name now.
U23 #USMNT: Hamid; Opara, Kitchen, Valentin, Jeffrey, Adu (c), Diskerud, Corona, Shea, Bunbury, Villafana. #CONCACAF
I would have preferred Boyd to Bunbury. However, if there's one squad Bunbury should be fired up to play it's Canada. Big opportunity for him.
Probably depends on the nature of the tear. Sometimes it can be 2-4 weeks, on the other hand KC Royals catcher (granted, different sport/position) Salvador Perez just tore his and is out until July. I think 4-6 weeks is generally the standard in reports.
