Copied directly from the web site.... For the second time under Bob Bradley the U.S. faced teams ranked in the top five in the world consecutively while going winless against Italy and Brazil. The U.S. was 0-1-1 against Spain and Argentina in 2008. The U.S. has a 0-5-1 record against top five teams under Bradley, and a 7-18-1 record against the top five teams since the FIFA World Rankings began in August 1993. At neutral sites, the U.S. is 2-8-0 against top-five teams. The two wins came against Germany (1999 FIFA Confederations Cup) and Portugal (2002 FIFA World Cup). So dad has a zero winning percentage at 0-5-1 and junior sat out half in the one tie. Bora, Sampson and Arena are 7-13-0 or winning a third of the time. Since 1993 with MLS to provide a economic base to build from, to argue that US futbol is getting worse since then is just ludicrous. The results don't lie. Does anyone still think dad should stay on after WC2010?
Absolutely DAD needs to move on. I think all but a few of the Bradley Bunch are not in agreement. The question is when? Dad's sticking with Junior is way past acceptable and if Junior continues to play at all, then dad should be forced out now. Junior's total lack of athleticism, passing deficiencies to moving teammates, the hospital passes he issues to teammates when he is in trouble and ability to disappear when the ball is in the air (heck he supposedly the 2nd tallest field player) is getting tiring. I have seen way too much of Junior. Time to see more of Donovan, Torres, Kljestan, Clark, Adu, Edu and Feilhaber in the middle. No more Beasley, Dempsey and Junior. But remember dad did not get the red cards, Dolo, Boca and Pearce all went down so you have a new back line. Playing with 10 men and a new defense is not dad's fault. The players he selects and subs he makes is. He showed the willingness to change strategy he should get the opportunity to change players. If he doesn't change the line up, see ya dad!
Bradley is one of our better performers game in and game out. Have you watched the Confed Cup at all? You can't see if you don't open your eyes.
Better performer? I'm surprise that many people rate player performance base on his energy instead of his skill. Junior << Reyna. Need a real CM, Jermaine Jones could fill this position better than Bradley does.
I actually expect Bradley and Jones the be our tandem in the midfield. According to FIFA's Castrol Index Donovan, Dempsey, and Bradley have been our top 3 players. Bob needs to go Michael needs to stay.
Are you talking Reyna the 21 year old or Reyna the finished product? Last time I checked, Bradley is 21 and still has plenty of room to grow. I hope you aren't comparing Reyna as a seasoned vet to a young player like Bradley. That would be pretty asinine.
