there may not be any corellation, WE don't have any way to judge how well this team is going to do attendance wise. It will help if the front office makes good hires that translate into great on field performance. It would also help if the cities media cared enough to actually report on the team and not use it as filler foder. Interesting I've started doing research to see how the Energy stacks up against the NASL. In what little research I've done I can Tell you that the Energyhas more like than at least 4 NASL teams. Like I said it may not amount to anything. It's just an interesting perspective in how the the team is being percieved in the community. A better perspective will be when the team releases ticket sales figures, and those will be most telling.
If FC Tucson has it's own forum with no more than 2 or 3 regular posters, it only follows that OKC Energy have their own.
So far, only a handful and half are antagonistic towards your request... Post an invite on facebook. Would only take a few to sign up and post... Congrats on 10,641 facebook likes as of today... but then again... Houston Hurricanes (NPSL) -- 25,992 "likes" ***I think Brendan is the Sally Field of the NPSL... er, uh... make that TPSL...***
an open letter to the moderaters of the bigsoccer forums: I have been a member of the (open and what I thought was a public) forums since November 6th 2013. Since I have actively attempted to be apart of this community on bigsoccer forums I have been disrespected both racialy and other wise, my oppinion has been undervalued. I have been ridiculed some times in the form of sarcasm some time blatently open. I have been antagonized as evidenced on this thread. The amount of imaturity, ignorance, and blatent bigotry is so astounishing and blatent that I am considering persuing a legal resolution. I have also witnessed other new members ridiculed and antagonised simply for expressing thier oppinion (which is what a forum is for). All of this is being done while no moderater has done anything except to say stay on topic and even then it's only to certain membere while others are allowed to stay off topic it is inconcievable to me to claim to be forum to all soccer fans yet exclude one group because a few select members decide they don't like it and that it won't last that tome wreaks of discrimination and exclusivity if you are going to be an exclusive forum close it to the public and let people know that so they won't have to endure the advirsaria atmosphere that this forum seems to provid. I have tried to follow the rules set by bigsoccer, but as I am excluded from participating (as I can not with out being ridiculed and antagonized) and there seems to be no monitering I write this as a last resort. I am aware that as moderaters you will undoubtedly delete this (strange you can moniter complaints levied against you but the mods and threads are neglected) therefore I have taken the liberty to print this off as I will any future correspondence as I hope that you respond and take measures to address the cituation I expect you won't I hearby officialy express my desire to unsubscribe to this forum I will not waste any more of my time or my money dealing with the bigots on this forum sincerly, Mike Hurst
Sorry, been quite busy lately, and will be for the next couple of weeks. It is not about the number of post, but the supporters who will post in the forum. 10 is a good rule of thumb. USR gave a good suggestion about posting and invite to Facebook.
There are requests in multiple places including USL forum, NASL forum, customer service forum by friends and foes of USL Pro but for some reason it doesn't seem like the mods want them to have a section of their own that is in line with the rest. See Sacramento is now at the main page not in the expansion section so at this point I would propose OKC has a thread/Subforum/whatever you want to call it in the same place as Sacramento.
Tuscon supporters leadership approached BS ownership directly and requested the forum and it was granted. I was against it but I am just a mod. Only Admins have the authority to move, edit, delete or create forums.
Get the posters to post here. That is what this forum is for. Not true. They posted a thread here in this forum to get their own forum.
Honest question. We officially have a team, badge, colors, stadium. We now exist. Is there a solid reason to NOT create an OKC Energy FC forum? I don't understand the reluctance to add a forum for our team. Looking forward to posting!
IMHO at minimum there should be an individual thread for every NASL and USL PRO team and ALSO for every announced expansion franchise. That's my vote anyways...lol
