while,I know that facebook likes don't translate in ticket sales but it does give a picture as to how the team is being percieved in the community. So to put it in some perspective I did some research to see how they stack up with the rest of the league. OKC Energy FC 9,917 likes Sacramento Republic FC 9,082 likes Orlando City FC (goes to MLS in 2015) 40,722 likes Los Angeles Blues 1,178 likes Phoenix FC Wolves 6,101 likes Richmond Kickers 5,427 likes Charlotte Eagles 3,225 likes Daytona Dutch Lions 4,875 likes harisburg City Islanders 3,840 likes Pittsburgh Riverhounds 4,569 likes Rochester Rhinos 7,510 likes Wilmington Hammerheads 3,791 likes not saying this amounts to anything but it is an interesting perspective of how these clubs are percieved in thier respective communities
Interesting that Dayton has almost 5,000 likes but couldn't draw 800/game. They have almost as many as Pittsburgh who have their own stadium and drew ~2,500-3,000. And Phoenix Wolves with 6,000 likes and they were a COMPLETE failure. I guess I dont see a correlation at all.
