That shouldn't be too hard, there are only a few: Tim Howard, G (Manchester United) Carlos Bocanegra, D (Fulham) Brian McBride, F (Fulham) Claudio Reyna, M (Manchester City) Brad Friedel, G (Blackburn) Kasey Keller, G (Tottenham) and then there are a couple of Yanks in the youth/reserves of Manchester United, one in Arsenal youth/reserves, and one in Liverpool youth/reserves. go to the Yanks abroad board, that is the place to discuss in further detail and the people who follow that board are more knowledgeable (though I'm sure they are the same people who frequent this board).
Here are the young players: Frank Simak, D (Arsenal) Denny Karbssiyon, D (Arsenal) Zak Whitbread, D (Liverpool) Jonathan Spector, D (Manchester United) Kenny Cooper, F (Manchester United) Guessipe Rossi, F (Manchester United -- will play for Italy) David Yelldell, G (Blackburn)
One more: David Yelldell, who is Friedel's backup at Blackburn, is a US citizen. Jonathan Spector (D, Manchester United) is expected to see some first-team playing time this season and has been registered in their 25-man squad for European competition. Also featuring for either reserve or U-19 teams are: Kenny Cooper (F, Manchester United), Zak Whitbread (D, Liverpool), Frank Simek (D, Arsenal), Danny Karbassiyoon (D, Arsenal), and Jemal Johnson (F, Blackburn). Of these players, Whitbread and Simek have a chance of getting first-team minutes this season.
PRIMIERSCHIP Carlos Bocanegra, Fulham Brian McBride, Fulham Claudio Reyna, Manchester Brad Fridel, Blackburn Rovers Jonathan Spector, Mancester United Tim Howard, Manchester United Kasey Kelly, Tottenham Hotspur Coca-Cola First Division Jay Denny, Stoke City Bobby Convey, Rerading Marcus Hahnemann, Reading Eddie Lewis, Preston North End Second Division Stefani Miglioranzi, Swindon Town
Also, Jemal Johnson I believe is still at Blackburn. Born in the USA, moved to England while relatively young. Brian Mascarenhas (former Bradenton player) is in the youth setup at Tottenham. And it's Frank Simek just to fully correct the above. Will Johnson is at Blackburn, played for a youth team in Chicago, but I don't believe he's a US Citizen yet and played for a Canadian youth team recently. Tom Parratt at Brimingham City has a similar situation. Lived in the US (Iowa I think) for a substantial period of time, but is not yet a citizen. Has appeared for Scottish youth teams: http://www.icalliance.org/features/profiles/alumni_profiles/TomParratt.htm
A few more names in England... In Division 1, there's: Jay Demerit, D, Watford In Division 2: Boaz Myhill, GK, Hull City (played for England youth teams) Paul Rachubka, GK, Huddersfield Town (played for England youth teams) In Conference: Jake Edwards, F, Exeter More players in Premiership youth/reserve teams: Matt Armstrong, M, Middlesbrough Luke Magill, M, Bolton Brian Mascarenhas, M, Tottenham Hotspur Daniel Nardiello, F, Manchester United (played for England youth teams) Tom Parratt, D, Birmingham Darren Randolph, GK, Charlton Athletic (played for Ireland youth teams) And in the coaching ranks, Juan Carlos Osorio, Colombian-born US citizen who is strength and conditioning coach for Manchester City.
