Zambia has become the team of that tournament... and rightfully so (Sudan too seems to be gaining some support from neutrals; but Zambia is the team of the day!

They should take this thing home. I am with them all the way!

Sudan needs a better approach at this game... Keep the high tempo up... Zambia is leaving lots of space which they can exploit at a high tempo.

Pk & red... snap. Done for Sudan. Inexperienced challenge that ...

Ahh poor Sudan... they ran out of gas... Just couldnt handle the game (same as Zambia by the way, Zambia was just a tad luckier... but overall the 2 teams were bad.

Better luck next time Sudan. The next one is in just 11 months!

I dunno. Zambia had just much more quality - technically way better and that was enough to wallop Sudan.

As far as I'm concerned it was a mismatch - Zambia just way better.

MISMATCH NR 2 coming up in 1 hour.

Almost makes me wish i was a gambling man :)

BTW: Max Gradel was terrible today and Gervinho is so frustrating to watch. A first grade headless chicken. Despite the two wingers being pretty poor Cote d'Ivoire still thrashes the opposition. I can't see either Mali or Gabon to be a viable threat.

Mali in semis again. Although that's as far as they'll get, it seems.

    Very physical.

I never liked the Badu - Annan pairing. I hope one of them is changed by Derek Boateng pretty darn soon, so they dominate the midfield.

I'm sorry, but that was a yellow if not a red card offense! One-footed studs up with no hope to catch the ball. This ref is overdoing it and needs to start showing some yellows before someone gets hurt.

EDIT: Too late. Someone already did get hurt. Mensah is off due to the reckless challenge. The ref sux. THAT WAS A STONEWALL YELLOW/RED.

Wow... this ref is terrible. And seemingly biased. I've seen 3 great tackles by Ghana called as fouls!

BTW: These Tunisians are worse ref complainers that Barca...

EDIT: How the hell was that a Badu yellow card? The Tunisian was fouling and Badu gets the call and the card????

EDIT2: Lol at the Msakni dive in the 88th minute :D

Despite all the ref attacking and Tunisia playacting I must say the Carthage Eagles are playing a great second half and were the better team. That said the ref is letting them play their game - I half expected the Msakni dive to be a penalty.

I'll just be glad if the trophy doesn't go north again!

    Plus I want 4 out of 4 predictions 100% correct :D

EDIT: Wow... the Ghana defence have really lost the plot. John Mensah off is the biggest mistake Plavi has made (if he wasn't unable to play).

    Good job there.

This has been one of the best games of the tournament.

    Agreed. The best.

I take back what I said about the ref. He is just bad, not biased. That wasn't a red, unless you believe the elbow was on purpose.

Damn. I didn't know Nigel de Jong was in there.

Glad the better team is winning (even if with some luck) in an otherwise difficult match.
