Drug Trafficking + Futbol + Ecuador... Not humurous and not funny at all. Not one bit! Unlike most of you here. I have seen Ecuador fight tooth and nail to get their name in the futbol world. Now this piece fo shit. I think Jorge Laso might still be locked up.
He gets what he deserves...I don't feel sorry for him one bit. He committed a crime so now he must pay the time. He better hope he doesn't run into Italians in prison. He will forever be remembered for being one of the worst referees Ecuador had. I still don't know his justification for allowing 13 minutes of extra time in the Barcelona-LDU game...that was just...
that one is easy to explain, he was running for public office at the time, so he needed the votes. His plan backfired, he still lost.
Is it possible to "de-nationalize" someone? That guy's an embarrassment. I remember he apparently went on an Italian TV show just so they could rip on him. He'll do anything for a few bucks.
This guy is a disgrace to Ecuador and to Soccer. His name should be erased from history. Freekin MORON!!!

I'm surprised there hasn't been much more chatter on BigSoccer about the case. NY sentencing set for disgraced soccer ref. Thx, Jay!
If Ladic still contributes, I expect a post about the Barcelona-Liga game that Moreno refereed. In any case, Byron Moreno is/was/and will always be an idiot. Notorious in Ecuador for that famous game, notorious internationally for the S.Korea-Italy WC 2002 match, and now also for his occupation as a drug mule.
Speaking of embarrassments to our country, can you guys quit arguing like immature brats in the Farfan thread?
