What is really funny is how arrogant 1-2 of the Bayern fans were when Leitner was brought up in their forum...as if they would never use a kid like this because they had sooo many others. Love the fact you guys got him...at least I know the kids has a future now.

What's with Sahin and Bayer Leverkusen?

A joke? For 6 Mio (clause) he is very good purchase for any club next summer!

^ I think it was Bayern Munich not Leverkusen, and something about Liverpool?

In TZ regarding the Leitner Transfer this was said:
    http://www.tz-online.de/sport/fussb...echsel-gehaltserhoehung-loewen-tz-983415.html

I don't believe this rumour!! It's at the end of that article, other newspaper would have made a big story about it.

But with a 6 Mio clause (Bild says this) he is a cheap bargain.

It sounds like 1860 is trying to get Leitner on a return loan through next season.

According to Sahin himself, he isn't going anywhere.

But I guess the media knows better than the player himself.

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin has rubbished speculation linking him with a move to Bayern München.

Following a series of spectacular displays which has seen Dortmund's meteoric rise to the top of the Bundesliga, rumours have surfaced that contact between him and Bayern for a possible transfer.

However, he insists his future lies with the Westphalians and dismissed reports to the contrary.

"I have heard about it from the newspapers, just like everybody else,'' he told Sat.1 television. "But I know nothing about it. I am staying in Dortmund.''

It had been reported that the 22-year-old had a clause in his contract enabling him to leave next summer for a fee of just €6 million.

However, that is also nonsense, according to Sahin, whose deal with Dortmund runs until 2013.

"Somebody has the wrong information,'' he said after his side's 1-1 draw against Paris St Germain in the Europa League.

    Any f#cking questions????

Klopp On the Bullshit Rumors Linking Barrios With Real Madrid

(The) Spanish press is taking the easy way out. Only because Higuain is injured, it is not like every forward in Europe is automatically theirs. A lot of players in Germany would be good enough to play for Real.

Not for Barcelona, but for Madrid. :D

There was an interesting article in goal on Bvb transfers. Some of the comments after seem to suggest Podolski is looking at coming. It seems a bit of a risky purchase if it happens.

I would give that the same "bullshit stamp" as the Liverpool/Sahin one.

Podolski is not a "Klopp-type" player.

The reasons very good strikers like Mladen Petric and Alexander Frei are no longer in Dortmund is because they weren't "Klopp-type" players.

I think the only way BVB goes for another striker is if we do wind up selling Lucas Barrios in the summer.

Which is something else I don't see happening if we make the CL.

But if selling Lucas Barrios somehow does happen, I would see a greater chance of BVB trying to bring Mladen Petric back than any chance of BVB buying Lukas Podolski.

I think if BVB wanted any Koln striker, it would be Novakovic and not Podolski.

And that is despite Novakovic's age (31).

I'm not saying BVB will go after Novakovic at all. I'm just pointing out that even at Novakovic's age, I believe he would be a better fit for BVB than Podolski.

Another thing. Podolski will be more expensive than BVB is willing to pay.

Also, another name no one is mentioning as a possibility is Leverkusen's Patrick Helmes.

If we make the CL, Leverkusen doesn't and we lose Barrios, Helmes should definitely be on BVB's list.

Helmes is a great striker. Getting him to the Westfalenstadion would be awesome.

Helmes would definitely be a nice pick up.

I actually think they are going to stick up high enough though to make the CL but we shall see.

We won't if we don't find our balls.

We must have left them in Seville.

we need every point we can get but there is almost a little of me that thinks Klopp can now use this as motivation during that mid season training camp leading into the 2nd half as they definitely can't think they are unbeatable at the moment.
