I guess I'll be talking to myself all year but who cares.

Fact - Burnley has won 3 straight against the big 4 in the last year. We are giant killers! Bring on Liverpool to finish the slam!

    On to host Everton Sunday!

Hey look what happened! 2 in a row and 2 for 2 against teams playing international football this year. I think about 34 more points should take care of that pesky relegation problem, don't you?

Never really had a club to attach to. Then met a really good friend about 6 years ago that got me hooked even while they were fighting to stay in the 1st division. They play with so much heart and above anything that they should with the talent they have.

And Owen Coyle really must be god.

So that's what revenge by Chelsea looks like. Ouch.

    Nice first half but then...woops!

On 6 points and in 9th position.

    Off to Anfield next week!
3 of the big guys in the first five weeks is nuts.

You're lucky - one we scored the third goal we gave up interest in trying to score again (other than our subs).

Well, out of the league cup but with the injury bug biting it's probably a good thing.

    TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v BURNLEY

White Hart Lane, London N17 - The World Famous Home of the Spurs
    Saturday 26th September 2009, Kick Off 15:00
    Premier League, Match 7

Tottenham Hotspur: 6th Premier League, 12 points from 18
Burnley: 9th Premier League, 9 points from 18

Tottenham Hotspur host founder-members of the Football League Burnley for the first time in a League match since November 1977 when Spurs won 3-0 in a Second Division match. The clubs have met since then seven times in the League (Carling) Cup, most recently in last season's semi-final which Spurs won 4-1 at home before losing the return leg 2-3 at Turf Moor.

Spurs will be looking to get back into winning habits after losing to both Manchester United and Chelsea while Burnley are proving more than a handful for many teams in the Premier League and should not be underestimated.

The two clubs had very mixed fortunes in the League (Carling) Cup midweek. Spurs went to Deepdale and had an impressive 5-1 win over Preston North End thanks to a Peter Crouch hat-trick and goals from Jermain Defoe & Robbie Keane. A day earlier, Burnley were knocked-out of the competition away to Barnsley 3-2.

    TEAM NEWS

Michael Dawson had a good return from injury at Preston, as did Heurelho Gomes and Gareth Bale, but the same match saw an injury to Mexican forward Giovani Dos Santos. Jonathan Woodgate, Ledley King, Sebastien Bassong, Luka Modric & Roman Pavlyuchenko are all out injured.

    PREVIOUS MEETINGS:

Saturday afternoon's match will be the 105th meeting between Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley.

Spurs beat Burnley 3-1 in the 1962 FA Cup Final 3-1 and the two clubs also contested the 1921 Charity Shield, which Spurs won 2-0.

    Look on the bright side.

If Burnley manage to avoid Spurs in the FA Cup, you only have to play us once more this season.

    :p
