Actually looking forward to seeing Nielsen play, he's an interesting young forward on loan from Red Bull Salzburg. Norwegian, I think. 20-ish.

Anyway, I think the last time we lost 3 straight in the league, Trappatoni gave his infamous "Flasche leer" speech....

Our bench for this match would look like this:
Husic, DvB, Benno Schmitz, Goetze, Hojbjerg, Schoepf, Pizzarro

They are unbeaten at home in the last 5 matches, so yeah it would be tough. But with Pep fielding the strongest possible XI, we should win this.

We'll probably see the Schweini-Javi pairing tomorrow in a 4-2-3-1. Let's see if they can replicate their partnership or if it's going to be implemented differently under Pep.

So are we seriously playing the full team??

Madrid will have a full week of rest, we need these guys fresh and 100% for the 1st leg.

Maybe just have Martinez and bastian double pivot to get used to it. Youth players filling slots where possible and rest key players too..

    Half games for robbery

Ribery has been very bad since returning from injury, lets hope he will be well rested for Madrid plus the motivation for that game would be on another level.

I would take off Lahm/Schweini , Ribery and Robben after HT

    No, it isnt, its:

    Raeder

    Lahm-Javi-Dante-Boa LB

    Piggy-Höjbierg

    Rob-Götze-Rib

    Pizza express

I'd prefere Schmitz or Weiser to replace Lahm..........

So Muller AND Mandzukic on the bench? That means both will start vs Madrid? So we're going to play this:
    ---------Muller----------
    --Schweini---Kroos----

vs one of the two best counter attacking teams in Europe at their place?
