Hehe, I have a feeling this is going to be a serious grind session for 90mins, cards and fouls will be plenty and possible injuries....

Not sure about this game... One part of me wants to simply crush BvB, and the other part really wouldn't mind giving up the Buli to them to focus on the Champions League and focus on crushing them on pokal !!!

No way. You don't allow pretenders to take the crown for 2 years in a row. Our team looks fresh enough to push for the treble, no conceding trophies. Only 9 games left (hopefully).

^^ repped! Domestic double is just as important. Let's thrash BvB and shut the peanut gallery up. 1 year was cute, but 2 is annoying.

Everyone is available except for Götze - who is on a day-to-day checkup basis. He might be on the bench on wednesday, but the chances of that are low.

Let's hope he'll be ready for wednesday first. But we would still be good enough to win.

Stats to do with next wednesday's match:

    Last 5 matches:
    BVB (3-2-0--14:6--11)
    3-1 wolfsburg (a)
    4-4 stuttgart (h)
    6-1 köln (a)
    1-0 bremen (h)
    0-0 augsburg (a)

    FCB (5-0-0--18:3--15)
    2-1 augsburg (h)
    1-0 nürnberg (a)
    2-1 hannover (h)
    6-0 hertha (a)
    7-1 hoffenheim (h)

    BVB at home:
    11-2-1----37:12-----35

    FCB away from home:
    7-3-4----22:13------24

    All matches in the Rückrunde:

    BvB: 10-2-0---31:10---32
    FCB: 8-2-2----26:9----26

Well if we're looking at stats let's compare since the beginning of time.... ;) Somehow I think that will destroy your stats.

IN CL form...you have NO chance at all

Because they would have no relevance to today?

Who cares - we're not in the CL. I posted those stats for a reason - to discuss and analyse realistically. I did the same before the Stuttgart match, and their record was identical to ours in the five prior matches and now they are the 3rd most in-form team in the rückrunde. So it wasn't a big surprise to me that they drew, even though the manner of the achievement ultimately was. At a similar stage to this of last season we also had a home draw against them after which we beat Wolfsburg 3-0 away and steadied ourselves enough for the rest of the season - including the match in Bayern.

None of it matters, it's all or nothing this Wed.

Either way stats be damned, the game is a toss up. Both teams have to win, I don't care how controversial it is, a W is a W.

...and the American in me says "I don't want no stinking draw! That's for sissies"

Again. I hope that this ends up in Bayern's favor so that the peanut gallery will STFU.

Not really too confident about this match tbh. I can see either result happening though I hope we don't loose again, 4 losses in a row would be embarrassing and 4 losses to the 1st and 3rd place during the season is even more embarrassing...

Anyways, I'll let them surprise if they can. :p Wonder if it will be a low scoring affair once again.

Not taking the title back by May would be unacceptable.

Yeah it does matter; the levelling factor being that it's a very big match. Bayern should be up for it, and I think that all three outcomes are pretty much equally likely.
