Allianz Arena. 9th of February. 18.30 CET. Schiese are without Huntelaar, and lets mention that Holtby is off to his heaven in London, Bastos stands no chance vs Lahm, my 12 years old cousin is a better goalkeeper than Hildebrand. :geek:

I wonder if it will effect the France match players much.

I would give Gomez, shaq and robben more playing time in this game.

I expect a win, probably by a good margin, but I wouldn't underestimate them ...

 we will play to the level of the opposition and barely scrape out a win. Par for the course.

Looks like Schweini is doubtful, think we should not risk losing him for Arsenal and Dortmund. We can beat Schalke without him.

If Schwini doesn't play I would go with a Gus-Martinez or Martinez-Kroos pairing, with Müller in the hole behind the striker and put Robben on the right to stop the Drama ... I would put Gomez in too, but I doubt that would happen ...

Gustavo just recently returned to the squad so I'd expect this formation in case Schweinsteiger can't start:

    Neuer
    Lahm-vBuyten-Dante-Alaba
    Martínez-Kroos
    Robben-Müller-Ribéry
    Mandzukic

Just like Fernando stated above.

Waiting for Jupp to put Shaq on the right instead of Robben and see all hell breaking loose ... :D

Lol Farfan and Pizarro are still in Caracas waiting to fly to Germany, and they will probably arive tomorrow, late afternoon. There is a good chance that they will miss the game. Pizarro would be on the bench anyway, but Farfan is a vital player for Schalke. Still don't get it with this friendlies, players traveling half the world for a game.

Draxler also complained about an injury, same like Piggy.

Exactly your second choice and Bazi's, no reason to put 2 defensive midfielders at home.

The only reason I considered putting Gus in is to get him match fit ... :)

I think I would put Gus last 25 mins if we have game in bag. Then start to ease him in more as the English weeks commences..

Btw why isn't boetang getting minutes anymore?

Also from the Bayern site, schalke will be missing practically their entire starting 11 due to injuries/flu/fatigue/overseas...

I hope we can capitalize on this as well ;$

For DvB to be match fit for the games against Arsenal ...

Due to the Schalke's problems I'm expecting an historic blow out now ...

Ribery didn't train today, looks like Robben could start tomorrow?

    Is Shaqiri fit anyway?

It's not gonna be easy tomorrow, without Ribery we struggle. The defense should win the game i guess. I am expecting a hard 2:0 victory, Muller and Mandzo will score.

According to fcb.de Shaqiri is out and Schweini is doubtful. Nothing about Ribery

They can sacrifice piggy for rest and put kroos there with robben opposite Ribery and muller in the hole.
Gus in at 70th and who ever after 2nd half if we're comfortably leading...
