I am loving this Mandzukic knockdowns

My question is can he replicate this against the Arsenal giant defence or we should just go small upfront vs Arsenal and put their slow CBs to foot races(Gotze/Muller upfront)?

Mandzo. I love him, such devotion and hard work.

Goetze is a beast, such amazing player. Goetze > Oezil anytime.

Ribs, it's great to see him back, he is trying to dribble to much, is hard on the wet grass.

Shaq is poor compared to the other, but he will do fine in cup and easier league matches.

Can't wait to have Robben, Schweini and Martinez back.

We shouldn't be putting Goetze up front, a lot of his ability is those dribbles from midfield which loses one of his key components. It's either Muller or Mandzukic, but then again I'm not Pep. :D

When he was at Basel in 2012 I ranked him with Hazard and Munain as the top wingers but nowadays he looks very terrible, When Robben gets back I doubt Shaq would even get any playtime except in Pokal games

I think Shaqiri looks a lot better as RW than he did as LW against Gladbach and Stuttgart. Definitely he's preferred position but with Robben and Müller it's next to impossible for him to get more playing time.

As a role player for the left wing he's just not good enough and CAM doesn't really exist anymore. Not to mention that his competitors like Götze are at least 1-2 levels above him.

Still, he's not having a bad game today.

I thought Shaqiri did well the first 10-15 mins. He obviously has the talent. I think it's more mental with him, i.e. trying to impress the coaches, being young, not playing much, etc. Still a big fan, but I don't know if and when he can reach his potential at Bayern

Mandzukic playing well too. Just a beast in the air and has created multiple chances.

Thiago might be the most exciting player this season. I know Ribery, Robben, and Gotze have their amazing runs, but I love Thiago's movement, vision, and audacity to try outrageous passes. Of course it doesn't work all the time, but we haven't been punished for it (yet).

Trapp is already a good enough shot stopper, but the woodwork has helped him out a lot this game too :D
