kross was better than 5.5..... he would have an assist if not for ribery's miss in the first half.. he also defended well.

 

I look at it a little differently. Mueller was switching with Robben and Ribery a lot which made our attack extremely unpredictable. I think he would make a great CF if given more time in the position. His scoring instinct, intelligent running, and creativity are a cut above everyone else.

 

We played hard enough we had midweek CL game. So you can see the fatigue a lil bit..

But as mentioned before, we wasted soooo many 1vs1 clear cut chances it was ridiculous... It's been a bad habit these past weeks. I hope it's not gonna be something that's gonna bite us in the ass later...

I also seem to remember Mueller I think missing an early 1 v 1 against Buffon against Internazionale that would have viven Bayern an early 1-0....at least I think it was Mueller but I know it was a sitter...Hopefully thjs year we can change the plight of Germans in finals

Kroos has even been seen sliding out wider at times, or even a striker to allow the alternating for the next line of 3 to commence.

It is exciting every time I see Ribery over on the right ready to combine with Robben. Without players who can adapt into other areas, this is less of a possibility.

 

multidimensional attack, false nine, new, alternating the attacking row...all well and good but there was no danger in the penalty area at all and our winger's aren't clinical finishers to say the least. Like that we'll be dying in beauty and I'd like to pass on that and leave it to Arsenal and Barcelona.

 

I don't think Gustavo would have been able to time a run perfectly then provide an inch perfect pass for Ribery's goal like Javi did.

Glad to see we have different options in midfield nowadays.

Back to the match, rather poor display of finishing due to Robben & 'Zarro. At least Ribs found the back of the net. Javi's pass was great. The PK really wasn't a PK but at least we found a somebody who can take them with aplomb! Eintracht are a decent side but today wasn't their day. Not much more I can say about the match.

 

Oh boy...memory gets more cloudy and more favorable to Bayern with time

They'll lose at least two out of Oczipka, Rode and Jung so there'll be no improvement of squad strenght. Instead they'll struggle to keep their currenct quality. The contract situations don't look too good though.
