Did I mention that J. Boateng is having a monster season? Just looking so calm and composed.

By the way, there you have it demanding your substitutions...Tymoshchuk is coming in... :p

Absolutely, we were always chasing the play and Son had him beaten for pace. Good yellow there.

Biggest difference between this game and the last few is having a real LB. Think this game would be closer had Badstuber been over there today.

Kroos off for Tymo. Does that make us a 4-3-3 now? Or does Schweini move into AM?

Schweinsteiger needs to get subbed. He looks like he'll drop dead any minute now

Rather than a positive impact on the game this substitution seems to be happening in order to keep everybody "happy".

The pitch doesn't look so good today. Divots forming every time there's an awkward step.

Rafinha for Ribery. My guess is Lahm moves to the left, and Alaba moves forward.

He seems to be having a breakout season like Bads last year.

No doubt fans of opposing teams will continue to taunt us for selling Hummels though.

Keep in mind the players and more importantly the coach need to get used to "killing" games off in the CL. We are on the road, up 3 goals, clearly have the game in hand.... now is the time.

When we are up one goal late in the 2nd half and need a player like Tymo on in a situation, or Rafinha for a wide back, they need to be game ready, not bench-rotted.

Eissman stating the obvious.... sorry... please continue. :p

LMAO. Last sub I expected it.

Well.... perhaps Neuer's exit would have shocked me more.

While I would like to see Arjen, I agree that having him fully rested for the CL match is most important. He will extra motivated for that one as he has yet to factor in the CL this season.

Good to see the way we played today. They slowed down the game a bit and worked possession a bit more and it paid off. Even when we started a quick counter we seemed to know when to pull it back and move the ball around more.

Great display by the team. Excellent 2nd half.

We maintained focus for 90 minutes, closed down passing lanes and pressured the ball for 90 minutes, and never looked like losing control.

Kroos scored his goal by drifting wide and playing from the left.

Muller scored his goal by drifting into the middle.

All our attackers were moving and supporting each other. This is what we have been missing recently and it's great to see it again!

This kind of mental focus and creative movement to support eachother is the kind of maximum effort I've been wanting to see.
