Our right hang side is total crap. Lahm is playing both as a RB and RW.

Zero interplay between him and muller. Muller seems to always wonder into the middle.

Tactical foul Diekmeier, yellow card. That'll be even harder for him against ribéry and alaba from now on.

Thanks for the info on Boban, didn't watch Milan at the time. Well, never did. :D

What a genius ball from Ribéry over 50 meters to the counter attacking Müller, then Kroos, then I thought WTF KROOS IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?! and then Kroos delivers that beautiful cross to Schweinsteiger.

    1-0

    NICE

Kroos made a mess of it, recovered, and made a sweet lofting pass...and schwein puts it in! Tempers flaring now....

The Ribery pass may never be shown in the highlights... but what a ball.

How is it that a team, that defends corners so well, is so bad at converting them?? You are able to judge, get to the ball first and clear it away; whats so so difficult about getting it towards goal? I just don't get it. We NEVER get to the ball on our corners, unless its at the near post.

HT, it's a nice match so far. This is the first Bayern match I've had to stream in forever. Normally I watch it in my friend's place which is why you don't see me much in match threads. The quality of the video is disappointing, but not the quality of the team. :)

Ribery's pass was beautiful. Our right side is non existent, one of Muller/Kroos for Robben

Nico Kovac als expert at LigaTotal, I really liked the Kovac brothers on a personal level. Not their biggest fan as players but they always seemed like cool dudes.

On the plus side, we are one of the best teams at scoring on the counter after we regain the ball when opposition has a corner vs us :D

Things picked up a lot after the first 25 minutes. We became more patient and our movement improved

It really is amazing. Ribery looking even more threatening now that he has a real fullback behind. <3

Well he's a quality footballer no doubt about it. He's gotten better and better this season and I think he has the potential to be one of the best in the league but that will also depend on the development of the team.

HSV will have to play more open now. Robben for Muller, Kroos might be needed to play as a third CM soon enough.

This may well be his 3 or 4th game where he does nothing and then what do you know he pops up somewhere with a hustle goal.

    The Positives -

Kroos has been drifting wide to interplay with Ribery and Alaba.

Boateng is having a monster game at CB.

    The Negatives-

What is the purpose of Luiz Gustavo being on the pitch? He hasn't made a positive contribution and is running around like a headless chicken.

Muller is not a winger. Play him centrally or don't play him at all when there are good wingers on the bench.

I think part of the reason we are so good in corner counters is Neuer. He's the best ball playing GK in the world and often starts the play QUICK and has the precision to throw/kick it in the right place. He's really turned us into a dangerous team in those occasions since last season.

Really if we would score in set pieces and even more so corners, we would be pretty much perfect at this point.
