Won my very first match in series III on Friday, so I have already overtaken my Hattrick accomplishments (stuck in IV for 9 seasons). :D

i got my first superb player as well. he's going to take a break from the nets right now until the new training stats kick in and then he'll get some fielding so his conc will pop.

The first international rankings have been posted, with Seargeant clocking in at #11 on the world batting rankings. Based on previous JFW rankings, I think he's getting hurt by the team performance multiplier and would rank somewhere around 6th or 7th purely on batting numbers.

He's at remarkable batting and exquisite concentration. There's a couple of guys who are a little ahead of him on pure batting skill (in fact, Kevin has one of them), but I don't think anybody else in WI has the complete package of batting, concentration, stamina, and fielding.

Incidentally, Seargeant ripped off 50 runs in 29 balls in the WI win today, so he may move up the next time the rankings are calculated.

that's interesting... my boy Owens, despite having high batting skill could never seem to do well for the u-19s but today they finally saw the light and opened with him I don't know why it didn't happen sooner with his stamina and concentration, but he's gotten off to a good start this time - on his way to a u19 top score.

My player, Darrell Julian, is at 23rd on the list of top batsmen. And yeah, Seargant had a great game today. Julian put 49, but needed 40-something balls to do it. I think he's been underperforming a bit due to the fact that his stamina sucked for quite some time, but now it's gotten higher and he should start putting up some good numbers.

To correct myself here, actually, the biggest edge Seargeant has on the rest of the field is his concentration, which started out high (respectable IIRC). Julian is himself pretty well-rounded.

And with the updated rankings, Seargeant moves up to 10th. :D

remarkable spin bowling rating on TIE. hoping for my spinner to pop this week in consis because it has been at least 4 weeks and he's getting 3 bowling nets, 1 fielding, and i have like 9 psychs!

Oh yeah, the previous marks were on a TIE. In the same TIE I had a batter go for 193 runs. The other went for 182. It was a fun game.

i wonder if my ratings for my next match, where i will most likely GFI, will be super high because my team fitness is at "invigorated"

I'm invigorated too. I'm gonna TIE the next two weeks and see what I can unleash on the number one team in my series in three weeks. I don't expect to win, but I do wanna see what ratings I get, and besides, I gotta go through him if I wanna get out of Div IV this year.

my next league match is against the guy who i am going to be fighting for 2nd. if all the matches the second time around play out the same way as they did the first time and we split the season series i will nick him for 2nd. should be interesting because he has a "remarkable" top order, if he plays GFI it'll be higher!

I've hit proficient on seam and spin bowling in the same match, but that was a GFI. It was also with lower fitness and a few worse bowlers.

Dangit, now you're gettin' me pumped for a match that's three weeks away! :D
