you're talking to someone who'd like nothing more than to have LaVolpe back.

I like vucetich, and I think he is better than chepo, but even then, I think the National team coaching job is too big for vucetich.

More and more, it seems like coaching the NT is too big a job for anyone.

who has gone over and done a good job? who has taken us to the next level?

first you gotta define what is a good job.

a good job is in my opinion winning trophies.

so far Lavolpe and el Vasco aguirre has won trophies this decade.

have they taken us to the next level?

    No

those 2 have been our best coaches this decade and they are still not good enough. what makes u think Vucetich who has failed miserably in libertadores will do better?

remember, the next coach HAS to do better than the best we had this decade. The next coach has to win the gold cup, take us to the confed cup.

Here's random, I dislike the current jersey. Cheap looking and that green is so off.

the black is a fail too. it could be way better.

    way doper.

    way fresh.

    fresh to death.

    black death.

Vucetich is a good coach, but he just seems like one of those guys who will bend over and do everythibg the televisoras tell him to do. Didn't he work for telerisa before getting the Monterrey job?

I'm cool with Chepo he might not be head and shoulders above the rest but I feel he has the balls to run a Seleccion without people dictating shit to him or players trying to get out of line,It could be better to be feared than respected and if so Chepo is our man just look at his face I would listen to his ass if he was my coach.

both options are crap IMO, but I suppose Vucetich seems like the less shitty of the two.

Meh I think a Dutch coach would continue the 4-3-3 scheme Van Basten Cryuff I don't think any FMF option is good ATM

Why is it FMF always talks about professionalism and standards blah blah blah, yet they can't be bothered to pick up their players and whisk them away at the airport without having them accosted by the press, just as they are leaving customs?

Nobody catch an interview Fox Sports did with Mario Carrillo, having him as a guest on some sportscenter like program like 2 weeks ago?. Anyway, he was asked the why Guille? question. He said because he was integral and critical to the system..and he was asked to explain his scripted response...he said Guille CREATED offensive plays in the same way that other players like Bofo and Cuau did...yes, he mentioned Bofo and Cuau and Guille in that context....I was like are you ********ing kidding me? and was shouting at the tv for the sports news anchor to call him out and be like what?...but alas, the no name wuss didnt, the other person at the table was some blonde chick...if he really believes that then we were in much worse hands than we thought

I see his point. During the world cup, Guille created as much as Bofo and Cuau did.:(

During the same interview, or around the same time, Carrillo blamed the Guille mistake on Guille, for not telling them he was too injured to play.

But I am trying to be forward looking and positive, so I'll move on.

And yeah he said that Guille hid the severity of his lesion in order to play...which before jumping to conclusions I imagine was Guille's desire to man up and take one for the team..without contemplating bigger consequences...

And even though after the WC, ironically Guille probably did end up creating as much offensive play as Bofo and Cuau, mainly because these two delivered pathetically on that premise...Vasco and Cappello would have to have been nuts counting on him to create danger as a creativo

so that Mexico vs venezuela thread didnt end well lol.

seriously, too many people trying to stick morals up our arse and force us to feel bad for them miners when we just want to watch our seleccion play.

those miners are saved. they were saved long time ago. their life was not in danger from what I read on CNN. it was just a matter of time to get them out.
