Is anyone else interested in having a draft for Hip Hop like strictly drafting Rappers. Living or dead I would be looking for probably 8-10 People and like 5-10 Rappers.
I'd be in for 5 rounds... but I don't know if I could last 10 with 10 people... maybe. I could be a bit obscure with some.
I was thinking of this but thought it would be a bit redundant with the album draft. Unfortunately my knowledge of music is pretty limited outside of hip-hop. I'd much rather draft albums, but I would do a draft of rappers also. I think drafting rappers could get problematic, since in the later rounds you would be seeing a lot of a) rappers that really aren't very good or b) underground (as in never released a widely distributed album) rappers.
Yeah, but this is the age of the Internet. If ya hear about someone you never heard of... cool... You can download something and hear something you never heard of.
If it's just rappers, I take it we're just doing individual rappers - ie, one can't pull a Racial Draft and take all of Wu-Tang Clan with one pick. I'd prefer albums, though.
I'd rather do albums, but I'd do either... I've already got my first like 20 albums that I'd pick Question, if we do this, would soundracks count? Like ***** *** ***, etc?
Whatever everyone wants im good for albums or rappers. I think for this kind of draft just rappers would be best but if the consensus is albums im fine for it. So far people who showed interest 1. I think the draft should be raps, as in police raps: #5 - P. Iddy(as in Iddy-it) arrested for being stupid enough to travel with a gun and J.Lo. Like one isn't explosive enough. #4 - Flava Flav gets busted for wife-beating #3 - Snoop arrested for murder #2 - Suge Knight not arrested for killing Tupac, but does jail time for lots of other things including being a generally awful person. #1 - Lil Kim does time for perjury rather than ratting on her crew Now there's a draft.
