FT: Ends 2-2. Got chippy at the end. A VERY weak penalty call against Hertha in the 86' makes it 2-1 Paderborn. Hertha immediatley advances up field and gets free kick outside the box. Low driving shot takes a deflection off the GK and is put into the top of the net.

Right, I meant I hope we qualify so that we can see him in Turkey next summer.

If he keeps starting for Hertha and plays well he won't need to play in Turkey next summer if you know what I mean.

He will be at the U20 WC, even if he's already been capped for the full USMNT. It is more important than the meaningless Gold Cup that will be happening at the same time.

Agudelo was 18 last year and played for the USMNT, he could of helped the U20 team qualify but didn't get called up the same can happen to Brooks.

Right, but had they qualified, Agudelo would have been there. Brooks will not be released by Hertha for qualifying, but if the players that are released can qualify, then he will be in Turkey.

Hertha might not even let Brooks play in the U20 WC or with the USMNT in the Gold Cup that's how stingy Hertha are, Agudelo would of been there because he plays in MLS.

Players have to be released for the U20 WC, plus it's out of season. It is a FIFA event, and therefore all age eligible players must be allowed to participate.

True. Anyway, he played really well today and i will be watching more Hertha games this year. Hopefully Morales can make the bench/start soon, regardless of the reason that he wasn't there today. Hopefully he's not seriously injured.

He's not injured go back to page 1 and you can see my post on why I think he isn't starting.

Hertha will try everything in their power not to release him, I would rather see him with the USMNT in the Gold Cup so Brooks can help the USA beat Mexico. :p

Ah, thanks. Still somewhat surprising he didn't even make the bench though

Also, judging by Paderborn's first goal, it seems entirely possible that Morales can take over what is IMO his best position at CDM

I agree and I hope he gets a shot at CDM but it seems Hertha only rates him as the back up RB it's unfortunate.
