    I thought I would have a look around Youtube for whatever videos I could find of some of the legends who have worn the white shirt. While I realise we already have a video thread in the main forum, I thought this one could be more of a history of the club and a sort of link between the history and where we are today, sat around the world trying to support this great club.

    I actually considered using Ronnie and Raul but think that if we put still active players in here, it will blur the distinction between this and the other thread. The same goes for figo and Carlos.
    I haven't done a Zizou one as there are so many in the main forum, but would have no objection if someone wants to post some.
    I wanted the thread to be a historical one rather than contemporary.

    Personally I prefer the theme your adopting. NIce to watch some videos other than the past 5 or 6 seasons which are, tbh, rather fresh in the memory.

    Good job. I would give you a reputation although it seems I have to spread. Hardly suprising the number of neg reps he receives from me with all his attacks. ;)

    Edit....oh if someone young and computer literate can tell me how to put the youtube screen in my posts, I'll do that rather than post links.:eek:

    Hey guys... sorry to pop the balloon, but this is a NSR forum and this thread should be moved. De la Hoya vs Mayweather = NSR. Casillas in the beach with his GF = NSR. Compilations of goals scored by RM legends = SR.

    However, I appreciate that this thread is good stuff. I'll move it to the main forum and I'll listen to suggestions about what to do with it. We could make it a sticky but then we'd have to unstick the Castilla thread. Lemme know.

    ^ I like the way you make it sound like it's a bad thing that you moved it down here. :D

    I've seen lots of threads moved to NSR but never one moved from there to the main board, and imo, this thread delivers and deserves it. We'll just have to keep it around by adding appropriate videos and it would be great if there were also interesting comments about what is on the videos. Thanks laudrup.

    LMAO at the music in the Real Madrid 70s-80s video, is that really what RMTV used for music?:p I am guessing it's an offical video release by RM/RMTV.

    That's fine laudrup, the only reason I put it there was because I envisaged it as being totally seperate from the current team and to avoid confusion with the video thread...but its all good.
    As an after thought I suppose we could add a few biographies of ex players (copied or written ourselves) here and create a proper legends thread...what does everyone think?

    Back on topic....the greatest team performance and possibly game ever... Real Madrid 7 Eintracht Frankfurt 3...some of the little touches and moves in these highlights are a joy to watch....

    I was gonna post a good comp of Raul and Zidane from youtube, but I guess it wouldn't go with Maca's theme.:cool:

    IMO, these are two of the best Zidane comps on the net. The first just showcases and displays his tricks and techniques, while the other has a little more emphasis on his overall game.

    Edit: mostly during his time at Madrid.

    Ok, something a bit special now, the full 1 hour 22 minutes of El Siglo Blanco, the official film celebrating Madrid's centenery and telling the story of those 100 years. Audio is Spanish but even non-Spanish speakers should find the footage entertaining enough.
