Agree - as I often do with you. Your man (Kaka) has got to get fit - he has allegedly been carrying injuries in the last 2 Copas.

Even I have given up on Ronaldo. The story has ended after 97 caps and 62 goals. And there is no point in picking a 37-year-old left back - even if he is a legend.

Yes, Robinho played well against a spirited Napoli and took the goal with ease.

How Lucio was not named in the 23 for the Golden Ball is beyond me. I would like to see him back against Argentina - he is a monster. It would be interesting to see if h was back in and Mano called him for the Copa America - Lucio has never played in one.

We will all find out 10:30 Friday Brazilia time.

Well is the word and not very good,
    not really selecao level
but he has improved from real bad to decent
so his curve is in the right direction.
    Pato was also a disappointment
some good touches but very sloppy
and wasted a lot of situations.

Nilmar has not really impressed either
    despite goals and assists
so the whole offense seems weak.

Not Selecao level - you must be joking. Robinho is precisely the player who is a Selecao player. I personally thought Pato looked class throughout. We do not agree in other words!!

Robinho has been one of the best players for the National team since 05. If there is someone that is NT level; it is him.

Pato's main problem is that he shows too much of the ball to defenders and ends up losing it way too many times. He really needs to work on protecting the ball better.

Your grading him on one game. Other then that game, he has been fantastic this season. Go on youtube and lookup Ronaldinho 2009-2010 and you'll be amazed.

I have 3 brazilian friends and they got so upset when they heard he was being called up because they say he is washed up and garbage. I asked them if they watch serie A and they said "Hell no, Brazilian football or EPL or La liga that's it" I made them watch what he's been doing and they were shocked at his performances.

They then all admitted that they only know what they read and all the news from brazil states otherwise, that he's sluggish slow and un motivated.

Your wrong if you think this.

Turn on Serie A every weekend and see for yourself.

This is exactly the problem with people passionate only about their country football. you put your blinders on.

He's been stellar and by the way? he's been tracking back all season long. If he didnt during the madrid game it's because he was told not to.

Well, we will have to agree to disagree then
Cause to me these players has lots to prove
Sure they have flashes of brilliance and talent
But has displayed a lot of irregularity throughout
and still have a tendancy to disappear
    against tougher opponents

Pato is still young and hopefully has a lot ahead of him
but injuries has constantly prevented him from really stabilizing
    which is worrying.

Robinho, to his defence he hasn´t had much time to settle in yet in Milan
but one must have higher expectations,
especially if he is the one who will carry the NT from now on,
which I doubt, maybe in a transitional period and then others will take over.

    i wonder why we don't see hernanes/douglas costa/bastos/ederson.

    and no marcelo??

glad to see coutinho again - he will only get better over time with the yellow shirt.

i wonder what the ST / LT plans are with Ronaldinho with this call-up

I'm fine with this call up, I'm just bothered by Douglas.. I'd rather have Hernanes or Bruno César. Mano said that he wanted more robust players in the middle because this game will have tougher marking than normal, but I don't see Douiglas as a super strong player...

Loads of DMFs/CMFs there, makes me wonder what will be the formation. It's tending to be a 4-3-1-2 it seems:

    -------------------Victor--------------------
    Daniel Alves---Thiago----David----André S.--
    --------------------Lucas------------------
    ---------Ramires-------------Elias----------
    -----------------Ronaldinho---------------
    -----------Pato------------Robinho-------

Maybe Jucilei instead of Ramires to add even more muscular strength...That's the formation Milan is using right now, in theory that would bring more "entrosamento" to our squad ahead of a difficult game...
I'd prefer a 4-3-3 with Neymar, Robinho and Pato up front, Elias/Lucas/Ronaldinho in the midfield.

And yeah I believe that Ronaldinho will be a starter... This call is "polêmica", why bring more trouble and questions to yourself by calling him if you are not going to use him? That's my line of reasoning at least.

So Mano visited players at the Milanese clubs and those at Real Madrid and picked hardly any of them!

Even worst, he called the only one who was really bad.

I think Ronaldinho isn't the future of the selecao football, so I guess Mano just wants to give him a final goodbye against the rival.
