I'm also intrigued about this sudden disappearance so I've been researching a little and only found a mention of wikipedia saying that he will sign at 16/10/08 in AEK, a big team in Greece.

    Here's the link:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brayan_Angulo

HOWEVER, I went to AEK official website afterwards and took a look at the squad. He's nowhere to be found, check urselves:

    http://www.aekfc.gr/index.asp?a_id=67

This is really unbelievable...suddenly vanished of thin air. Is it likely that he missed his shot at signing any team this season due to bureaucracies, injury or Inverfutbol screwing the deal?
If nothing shows up than he is playing in a far, far country or unemployed.

Not bad at all, Leixões is making a good campaign this season. Just 1 or 2 fixtures ago they were 1st in the league. So it's a good opportunity for him...

thank you chess panther, it seems that the portugal league was impressed with his work in boavista that another team snapped him up from greece. This is great news for a 19 year-old, does anyone know the D.T for the sub-20's e-mail so we can forward him this INFO!

You bring up a good point, but why not call him up as an option? Let's say we are (1) winning a game and we have like fifteen minutes left, let's try the kid out, or (2) we either lose the side defender and have to replace him or the other kid isn't doing his job, how can we not benefit from a guy that has been playing europe for over a year now and is like 19?

Re: Brayan Angulo- Boavista De Portugal

exactly man he is playing in europe let him stay there... we have 3 players in portugal right now 2 of them are on the NT.... he has a good season in this club and he will get a call up to the MSNT

why play for the sub 20, there is no danger of him playing for portugal and we have a pretty amazing team right now im just worreid that Silva calls him adn is forced to use him just because he is in europe. These tournies are to open the doors for our players to go abroad and this kid has already done that... now its just important for him to become a starter and play so that we can call him up for the only team that matters which is our senior team

I love our sub 20 and how great tehy are but nothing make its more painful that the level right before senior has so much promise and potential one of the top 3 in SA and at time maybe the best but that talent doesnt translate 2-3 years later... I dont know what the problem is can be the fed, the teams, or just how we are organized but I dont get it why our 2003 sub 20 can beat Brazil and like 2-4 of our players made it abroad and half the brazilian one are like 40 million dollar players even if they sucked

esta jugando en el Leixoes... y aunq es un equipo super X y recien ascendido... estuvo 1ro durante 4 fechas en la 1ra division portuguesa... y tiene la 6 nomina mas cara de portugal... asi q no creo q sea un equipo pobre...

he has been starting now for Leixoes but now in his new team they are using him as a LM.... which kind of sucks because we need a LB for the NT

He is owned by them, and they just recently promoted but are 4th I believe. He starts for them every game but plays as a LM now not a LB

Re: Brayan Angulo- Lexioes De Portugal 2009

Angulo is starting against Porto. Guarin not starting. I believe Angulo is playing lb instead of lm like alot said he did on this team. He seems to have a decent cross.

bueno... el negro termino una temporada aceptable, jugo 17 partidos, 15 como titular, siendo uno de los mas regulares del equipo desde el momento de su debut.
