you haven't played with casey and omar. i have. trust me there not as good as people say. omar was what 25 years old rookie in the leauge and all i seen that first season was the ball constantly bounce off his feet. no doubt casey and omar are decent players. but there's already players within the mls that are better.
I'm a bit surprised that no one has mentioned Andre Arshavin. I know he's not the age (31) that were looking for, but it sure would floor us all to have a player of his caliber. what you fail to realize is i've been on all the youth rapids and was playing with the reserves till the roster changes were made and the reserve league was gone.

So, if we believe you, you were part of the 2006 and 2007 Reserve teams that were actively followed by the SG's and who won the reserve championship each year. If so, I'm sure there are plenty of fans who would want your autograph, so who were you? That also means you were a rostered player with the Rapids, so which one? Are you Daniel Wasson?

What does that have to do with anything? Does that give you an inside edge on knowledge? I've known several ex-pros that were complete morons on player evaluations. You may have worn a Rapids youth jersey at one time but that doesn't automatically make you an expert on who is or who isn't valuable to the team. I may speculate who I think Oscar prefers / values but when it boils down to it, I don't really know, only the coach and players do.

From '05 to '08, the Rapids had the following Gen Adidas players: Hunter Freeman Jacob Peterson Nico Colaluca and Ciaran O'Brien. Not one of those players' stories lines up with yours. Freeman's with the Rapids. Peterson was traded to Toronto, not "not offered a contract". Colaluca was traded to NE, not "not offered a contract". Ciaran O'Brien was still with the team when the reserve league was put on hiatus. And what's more? All of them are still playing soccer professionally, not "looking for a job in Thornton". Please stop the bullshit.

Actually, I believe you come off of GA contracts by minutes played and not age.
