As we learned from last season, the poll results are dead wrong :p

I guess that's why you're withholding your vote.

Wonder where you can get one of these -- the Brasileirao and Copa do Brasil official match ball.

In case we do have a strike, will they run a short season like here in the US? or make up the games?

Probably a short Joao Havelange tournament.

But the players would be the ones protesting not the clubs, so organizing a short tournament without CBF wouldn't be the issue. More like getting the players to go on board with the tournament.

I also think it's more prudent for them to strike during the national competition where all players do have the financial backup to stay a year without playing a national competition

paulo Andre and Roberto were trying to organize a paulista strike but all the small teams put an end to that.

Yup those guys depend on that tournament to survive, they wouldn't stop it. Now the big players can stop it since they make enough money to survive.

Is anyone convinced of a true favorite after the Estaduais and Libertadores results?

I personally feel like Santos is but then again who knows if Bruno Uvini will help the cb position. Cruzeiro has to be same with Atletico-mg but I expect a dark horse like inter or Flu to possibly win it. It seems like most of the comments I read are either for Cruzeiro or Santos.

My question about Santos is their defense. They look really shaky at times. Atletico-MG has been quietly doing things, but their play hasn't really impressed me. They are just getting results, so that football could be suited for the Brasileirao.

It's probably going to come down to some breakout performer....

I'm not really seeing any revelations coming besides Erik from Goias and Luan from Gremio unless you would consider Geovanio one. . This is more a who concedes the least league more than the english championship where it's who scores more but last year's Cruzeiro gives me hope as a Santos Fan. You are right though the defense is extremely fragile, I was hoping for Palmeiras in the final just to test if having Cicero and Arouca is practical protection for any back 4.

We need to have the pool question added so we can vote and look ridiculous after somebody like Chapecoense wins it all.

If Flamengo doesn't get Elias you guys should look into swapping a cb and $$$ for Wesley. It is looking like he might leave so i'm sure everyone is trying to get him by now. He makes so much sense for Flu and Flamengo.

One player that annoys me is Bruno Cesar. He has so much talent and might be the best technical passing player in the league( i'm not talking vision/instincts), but he is so disappointing and doesn't change games the way he should.

If it's a lesser offer, it was accepted due to spite. I figured that they would try that.
