AC Milan is behind Roma and will probably stay that way.

Yep. When he would move into a dangerous position, his teammates wouldn't look for him but go for their own glory instead.

It's good to see he walked straight back into starting line-up, and scored a goal.

Apart from the goal this was only a decent performance by Bradley.

I have my doubts about how he's being utilized. They have to play more through him, but with a guy like Totti on the team that's not very likely to change. And his position seems to be a lot more in front of the ball, than he's used to.

I'm a little curious about the Jizz Crew, but I mostly don't think I want to know.

The goal is just icing on the cake!! I'm more impressed he came come off an extended injury period and walked right back into the lineup. That doesn't happen to Yanks that often. Usually they have to scrape and claw their way back. Kudos to Miley. You can tell he plays an important role for Roma.

That's excellent officiating, and of course, a very good run from Bradley.

GREAT run from Bradley. In fact, he should have gotten the pass in the first place - the guy who took the original shot dribbled into three defenders instead of giving the ball to a wide open Bradley. I don't know how he played for the rest of the game, but if Mikey made more runs like that he'll be starting for Roma for a long time to come.

A little disappointed in Bradley. Was hoping for a rocking the baby celebration, perfect opportunity. Oh well, great first goal and a timely win.

The highlights aren't highlights until we get the Carlo Zampa version. I've waited my whole life to hear Carlo Zampa call an American scoring a goal for Roma.

I think that's a bit harsh on destro here. That was a pretty good shot - as evidenced by the fumble - and he was always looking to shoot when he cut it on his right foot - not dribble the defenders. You could say he gave himself too small a window, but he also got off a shot that is hard to see through traffic. a pass wide to Mikey would have been fine too, but requires more ball work to get the shot. I don't see that particular play as some epic selfishness - which is not to say there weren't others.

I hear you, but Mikey was WIDE open, and Destro had to shoot while being closed down by 2-3 defenders. If the keeper hadn't flubbed the rebound and Bradley hadn't finished his chance very well I think it would have been a very frustrating missed opportunity for Roma.

I think it worked out as well as it possibly could have. Bradley scored against a keeper that wasnt well positioned because he was recovering his feet from going down to block the initial shot, and the defender that would have closed him down if it were a pass was sprawled out after trying to block the shot. The Atalanta defense was also well positioned to cut out passes from the overlapped position.

Not saying that a pass still wouldnt have been better then the shot, not knowing how the shot would play out, but I do think Bradley was in a much better position picking up that rebound then he would have been if it was passed.

I think you have a point, just knowing Italian (and prosoccer in general) I was expecting more personal futile heroics. A pass to Mikey was for sure an inviting option.
