    Alright Shay, step up.

Announcers calling out Cacapa for causing Colo to step in. Nice.

Absolute dive. Didn't even need the replay to see that.

I wish we didn't have to pull off Jonas to bring on Owen. We only have so much creativity.

We're resorting to shots outside the area now. Getting desperate when there's still time left.

Of all the strikers in all the world, Michael Owen is about the last person I'd expect to miss that.

I'm just going to rationalize that Shola was in his way.

********ing awful foul call on Beye. Yellow card for doing nothing but perfect defending.

Looked like a great tackle from Beye. Sure as hell wasn't a card.

I have to say this ref set (incl. assistants) hasn't been all that great today. No way in hell is that a foul (and it should still be 1-0, in fairness).

Can Cacapa get a hat trick?

My suggestion is that we don't try to play the ball in the air to our 5'8 players when they're around 6'5 defenders.

Horrible loss. We played well enough in the second half that we could have won the match by 2 or 3 goals, but a couple lapses in defense by a completely lost Cacapa and a few inches here and there on a couple missed goals cost us the match. We can't be losing matches to trash teams like Fulham, there's no excuse.

BOOOOOOOOOO!! Cacapa is the second coming of Bramble. He's not a Brazilian, he's from Belize.

Jonas provides penetrating run that we just aren't getting anywhere else. Pulling him off hurts. I think I wold rather pull Cacapa, maybe drop Butt back to a really defensive mid, and leave Jonas out there.

Win the tough match, lose the easy one. Such is the Newcastle way. Back in the drop zone with us.

I agree. Late in the game is when you most want a player with the pace and creativity of Jonas on the pitch. There is more to be exploited at that time. I don't see how anyone on the squad could do worse than Cacapa tonight.

Good Lord that was awful, simply dreadful.

Cacapa is woeful, Duff just sucks, the Owen-Gutierrez swap was stupid took the tooth and width off the field, especially when you have a giant Viking in the middle, Ameobi just has no sense of placement considering he was way offside for his goal and made no runs what so ever, Butt/Barton does not work, EMO missed a sitter in front of Capello--yeah looks like your days are numbered fort he 3 lions...what a terrible way to start a Sunday.

    utter utter shite.

Rule one of being a Newcastle supporter, every time you get some optimism you will get kicked in the nuts. I think that was our worst performance of the season, following on from our best.

Got sick of them hitting it long with only Ameobi looking even remotely capable of winning a header. Given the conditions though maybe playing it on the floor was not an option, we looked terrible on the carpet too, no creativity in midfield today and Oba was poor (we should have known he'd never follow up a two goal display).

One thing I don't like about Kinnear is his inability to change it when things aren't going well, we saw the same in the derby. Picking Cacapa today has cost us points. I also think he should have changed the team after the Villa game, I know we won but adapting the tactics away from home is a good idea.

Never mind, lets put it behind us and look ahead to Wigan at SJP.
