I wonder if there are franchise rights to the Boston market for PDL or if that was just coincidence? Real Boston is a fairly new soccer organization who are putting the Rams on top of their development pyramid so to speak, but the youth teams are older than the PDL franchise.

Well, after the 8-0 defeat at Chelsea I can imagine that Brad Guzan wants out :)

They seriously expect an EPL keeper to show up? How do they expect anyone to take them seriously?

It told us that they are clowns without a clue, I mean how can you invite Brad Guzan and DMB ? How can you mention MLS if next expansion fee will be 60 or 70 million dollar ?

These guys might end up in NPSL or PDL one day, but nothing more

it's my best guess that they are looking to become the New England Revolution entry into the USL Pro/MLS reserves 2014 merger...but it's only a guess

Didn't the Boston Victory have USLPRO ambitions, how did that work out ? After 1 season in PDL they already folded.

USLPRO 2014, even with 5 players from the NER will still cost a lot of money

But like you, I wish them nothing but success

Mr. Holt would be pleased to announce a limousine filled with Big Macs as an expansion team.

    Not dead yet.
Checked the Boston Victory Facebook page to see if I could delete it finally...... and it's full of recent posts about fans owning part of the team.

Facebook says they are more popular in Lisbon than Boston.

Ever been to the Boston area? Based on where the team was playing, I'm not surprised that their fanbase were primarily Portuguese. There are a number of untapped sub-markets around Boston made up of people who don't/can't/or wouldn't even want to make the hellish crawl to Foxboro.

looks to me like the Boston Victory website has either crashed or they didn't pay their bills.
