I wonder if there are franchise rights to the Boston market for PDL or if that was just coincidence? Real Boston is a fairly new soccer organization who are putting the Rams on top of their development pyramid so to speak, but the youth teams are older than the PDL franchise.
It told us that they are clowns without a clue, I mean how can you invite Brad Guzan and DMB ? How can you mention MLS if next expansion fee will be 60 or 70 million dollar ? These guys might end up in NPSL or PDL one day, but nothing more
they should take a look at this and realise that it ain't that easy Category:Defunct soccer clubs in the United States - Wikipedia ... it's my best guess that they are looking to become the New England Revolution entry into the USL Pro/MLS reserves 2014 merger...but it's only a guess
Didn't the Boston Victory have USLPRO ambitions, how did that work out ? After 1 season in PDL they already folded. USLPRO 2014, even with 5 players from the NER will still cost a lot of money But like you, I wish them nothing but success
and here you go...so best to friend them now... We are going to be inviting a few of you on our friends list into our trials. And we will randomly pick two of you to bring in and the team will cover all of your expenses to include, lodging, meals and transportation. Our trials will begin in early February. Some of you on the list that are already coming into our closed sessions this will not apply to you. If you are interested in being considered please send us an email by 01/01/2013. The website will be up with additional information shortly....Thank You for following the Force.
Not dead yet. Checked the Boston Victory Facebook page to see if I could delete it finally...... and it's full of recent posts about fans owning part of the team. http://www.facebook.com/BostonVictory?sk=wall We'll see if this goes anywhere. lol
Ever been to the Boston area? Based on where the team was playing, I'm not surprised that their fanbase were primarily Portuguese. There are a number of untapped sub-markets around Boston made up of people who don't/can't/or wouldn't even want to make the hellish crawl to Foxboro.
