If you want to catch an epl game on saturday or sunday morning, go to the Phoenix Landing on Mass. Ave. right near the Central Square T (subway) stop and bus stop. It's a pub during the day and a nightclub at night. Although there's only a handful of items on the breakfast menu, the english breakfast is pretty good and they make a heck of a breakfast sandwich. Most every game is played, and there's a good amount of room.

They do serve alcohol there, but a lot of people (especially those who bring children) don't drink. If you went on sunday morning, there's no alcohol until noon, I believe, because of blue laws (some elements from the puritan way of thinking survive to this day). It's also a bit on the dark side.

If you went there, and you didn't like the atmosphere, there's also plenty of other places to eat just a short walk away.

Same ingredients. I've heard it both ways. English won more wars. I give them the nod.

My family actually planned a trip to Boston this coming week, and the first day of our trip will be the KC/NE game. I'm pretty excited, is there anything special going on (I already know about Ireland/Bolivia) or anything you'd recommend either for the game or for Boston in general? I'd love to cheer against you all as long as you want to cheer back...
