that foul came when the score was 101-101 but Mirza tied the game right back up with a three 106-106 J Kidd lost the game for the Nets - he should have given Mirza more time in the 1st half in the first half mirza got only 6 minutes and 34 seconds of play he came in when Nets were down 3 and when he was subbed out Nets were up by 4 (Mirza was +7 for 6:34 of play in the first half) Joe Johnson was terrible in the first half when he played with Pierce - he was getting double teamed and tipple teamed at times because PP had an off game (Nets were -31 with PP was on the court) but when Joe Johnson got to play with Mirza things opened up for him and he had an epic game Nets were +31 with Mirza on the floor He shot 50% from the field and made 1 of 2 FT's for 17 points and 7 rebounds (2 offensive and 5 defensive) I believe he had 2 turnovers and and 3 fouls on the game in 23 minutes and 51 seconds spent on the court. _____________________________________________________________________ That 100-95 game that Nets lost to Raptors earlier in the series was also J Kidd's fault but for opposite reason. He was forcing Mirza instead of just playing Paul Pierce. PP was having a good defensive game while Tele was invisible defensively and that cost BKN the game. PP was +7 for that game while Mirza was -10

Grizzlies miss a golden opportunity tonight and Durant will probably escape the enormous embarrassment of receiving his MVP award after being eliminated from the playoffs, ala Dirk a few years ago.
I think the Grizzlies would present a difficult match up for the Heat, if they ever made it to the finals. They're big, play good defense, and are comfortable with a slow pace. In the East, they'd be a powerhouse. With Conley injured, and with Golden Boy Durant on the other team, I don't think they'll survive a game 7 on the road. But you never know.
never doubt the ability to GRIND , excessive jumpers lose games in the playoffs , the only reason the grizz played so badly is turnovers allowing Thunder fast breaks
Lol I'm surprised Iguodala actually started playing quite well again. And Blake Griffin fouled out so stupidly.
He looked disinterested to me , key for warriors was taking care of the ball ( they had very very few turnovers ) also AI was huge down the stretch , I thought Doc blew the game taking DJ out in 4th it allowed the warriors 5 free Layups in a row
Golden State is a team I'm really rooting for to go all the way. I miss the Sonic's guys. So ********ing much. I loved watching every single NBA game
I think the Clippers became a bit too predictable down the stretch too. Their plan would be to swing it around and let JJ Redick get off a 3 even though he wasn't feeling it last night. What was he, something like 2 of 10 from beyond the arc? Some of their 3s looked more like throw it up and let's see what happens.
Yeah the Sonics were dope. Seattle is a much better market than OKC I still don't understand that. Who do people in Seattle go for? Do you guys cheer for the Thunder or Portland? Or just any random team?
Honestly less people have been following it, but it varies person to person. No really reason to root behind a team when they don't relate to you.
Google what Robert Parish did go Bill Lambeer in Game 5 of the 1988 playoffs , and he was called for a common foul ....
I live in the same state, but on the other side. When the Sonics were around, there was decent interest (obviously, Sonics were much bigger in Seattle). When they left, it's as if the NBA stopped existing. No one cares anymore. It's strange.... We get Utah Jazz games for free on cable. Apparently, we are considered their local market, even though no one cares about them. Since I am a Laker fan, I wanted the NBA to have a team in Seattle because it's much closer than Portland, so I could watch the Lakers play live, which I did many times. ... So I'd love Seattle to have a team again for selfish reasons.
Different era, different rules, different interpretations of rules... You throw a punch, you get suspended these days. It might not be fair, but that's how it is.
I don't like it , even in the early 2000's the league allowed so much more physicality , Shaq made a career of "fouling" people and then scoring , also I've never seen more 4 point plays in my life , everyone is flopping hard after releasing their threes this playoffs
Am I the only one that can't wait for this Mavs-Spurs game to finish? I don't really care who wins or if there's a game 7... Rockets vs Blazers will be great.
I like the mavs as a dark horse mostly because I hate Tony Parker and his cheating on one of the hottest women in the world antics
