I was in the stadium and that was cool !
I was afraid at the end of the first half-time when Derbyshire scored his offside goal...and even more afraid after the real egalisation of Mitroglou.
As usual, Chamakh doesn't know to score with his feet but he is amazing with his head ! Really, he is the best with his head !

I have to find some photos of the giant spartiat helm tifo because I was under and did not see it !

I hope we won't play Barça or Lyon !

I'm so relieved that Bordeaux made it through that game. The team really need to get their heads together and start winning Ligue 1 matches too!

Obviously all match ups would be tough this late in the tournament but who are the ones that Bordeaux matches up best for the quarterfinal round?

I think Bayern would be the most favourable, since Bordeaux already beat them in the group stages.

It would be interesting to see them play Arsenal, due to all those Chamakh rumours.

Well, Champions League Quarterfinal is Lyon vs Bordeaux, Bayern Munich vs Man. U, Arsenal vs Barcelona, Inter Milan vs CSKA Moscow. Munich/Man. U faces the Lyon/Bordeaux winner and the Inter Milan/Moscow winner faces the Arsenal/Barcelona winner in the semi final.

the only upside is it ensures the presence of a french club in the semis.

Bad call by the ref on the penalty shot. But Bordeaux can still come back at home. 2-0 is not impossible.

Bordeaux cuz of lack of experience, ii believe if they get their act together they pull qualification

if they do exit at this stage i wont complain much, for their 1st title to come this far is impressive. lyon wasn't going this far when they won their first title.

Bordeaux have been the better team , Lyon is lucky to have 11 players on the pitch also .

Calm down: Cissokho scored, if he hadn't been on the pitch it would still be 0-0 :D

Beautiful Bordeaux victory but Lyon with the best defence of the Champion's League has shown that its in heritage is italian...
