With three matches this week Ischia chose to essentially start the reserve team with Gracian and Neri providing the leadership. I've got to say they are look very organized and energetic. Quito was expecting much less I'm sure.

Yeah, they are playing like studs. I think Liga thought they might get off easy with all the subs, but Boca is Boca.

Looking at their so-so performances on the league and what they did against Bolivar(where they were few minutes away from not qualifying) this isn't anyhow surprising, they seem to be fully concentrated on the CWC, let's see what will Ischia brings up for the match against Newell's.

Boca will use the 225 on Battaglia(to play against Newell's) since Benavidez returned late from the tour in Korea with the U20.

Two for Boselli, is that six for Boca? Good day for Boca's youth program.

I'd like to have that guy back.

all those players are tall, not like the ones from river (buonanotte, and the rest new talents from river)

they are like 1.75 or 1.84 between that range....

from today i liked a lot forlin, and GAITAN!

I am not so familiar with these players, so somebody can correct me, but I think they lined up in a 4-4-2, something like this:

    .................Garcia
    Barroso...Forlin...Munoz...Fondacaro
    Gonzalez..Chavez..Gracian..Cardozo
    ..........Mouche...Philippe

fixed it a little ASF :)

Our youth problem is one of the things you have to give Macri/Bianchi etc etc credit for building up. It's unbelievable, especially considering players like Boselli who is at Estudiantes, Roncaglia, Benavides, Viatri didnt even play, and players like Trejo, Foristieri etc who decided to leave the club for money

Tenemos equipo para rato. Hope some of this moral boost will also rub off on the senior squad in their game tomorrow. Also can't wait to see these youngsters play again in Ecuador

    La Mitad + Román

And lets not forget the US$ 100 million that we got for Tevez, Gago and Banega.

I haven't seen a team as pecho frio as LDU since the River that lost the superclasico the day of the goals by Battaglia and Iarley.

Gaitan is the best appearance for the team in a long time. That kid has pure class.

Gladly impressed for the rythm they played. That was key ... and they lasted for the 90 minutes!

Perhaps the only player that was disappointing was Phillipe. Could had been the anxiety, but he choked when he needed the calmness that Gaitan showed every time he has been in front of goal. He is a natural goalscorer thou ... Huracan's top historical scorer in inferiores.

Food for thought ... Gracian is not a player for "equipo chico". He needs to play along "chicos", where he can lead. It happened at Velez, it happened at Boca last nite.

Yeah, it was hard to tell the way they were all moving and rotating so well. But I guess Alvaro as 5 makes more sense. He was the most defensive of the midfielders.
