I'm just not comfortable with putting a strong tackle in on a girl. It just seems slightly.. Wrong to me.
I used to play in a coed soccer class every week and the girls I used to encounter were all honey badgers lol. They went hard. But I'd never dare to go all out on them. In fact I got injured trying to avoid a collision with a girl. I ended up busting my knee trying to get out of the way lol.
I get what you mean don't worry. The thing is I tend to get a mutual respect from when I play against men and they don't feel the need to go flying in on me. It's more likely I get some chav doing it. I can't handle myself though. I give as good as I get, but obviously size matters, you could easily push me off the ball even if I have better technique. Most of the time men don't want to mark me so I don't 'embarrass' them! But if someone is an idiot with me and slides me etc, then I do get pretty wound up! I have a fast temper when something is uncalled for. appleCORR
@mercurial4991 they are talking to you saying "you should of got my brother morelia II" lol if you like them that much PDS have blue pair for very cheap right now.
Size is just an excuse!! If you have speed and technique you can win a 50/50 ball against someone bigger and stronger.
my trusty blue ctrs have lace holes ripped and sole is separating will nike give me a voucher for these?
Speed + technique does indeed help, no doubt. But size definitely influences most tackles and 50/50s.
If a pair of nike boots has the dates, 9-08-10 & 10-08-10 on the label, are they still in warranty? thanks Tom
I've sent in a boot waaaaay past it's date and they took it. Like I sent in Marina SLs 8 months ago and got a voucher...
ridiculous!! ^^ how about in canada? any lucky people? and say if you sent in a pair for example 8.5, that are broken, can you ask them for an 8? or is it voucher for canada too?
For Nike, no vouchers in canada, only replacements if they decide that your boot was faulty not from wear and tear but a manufacturing defect. (makes sense as there are no nike online store for canada) Size, color, boot silo are solely at the discretion of Nike. you have no say in it. If you send in 8.5, they will send you 8.5, they wont change to 8.
Anyone know if I can send a boot in for dissatisfaction. I have done it wil adidas and I have heard of people doing it with Nike. I have superfly II's that only give me blisters.
Actually, I helped a friend send in his CTR I and got CTRII in the blue/blue colourway. During the phone call, Nike offered to either replace the cleats or store credit at their downtown Toronto and Vaughan Mills location.
oh yeah they'll give you the newer version if thats what they have in stock. I just sent in my Laser IIIs in december, and they sent back Laser IVs. But i never knew you can exchange for store credit, maybe its only for toronto locations? I had to mail them in, and during my call they said the only option was replacement.
I tried to return some SFII to Nike Australia for major discomfort and aches and they wouldn't take em, they said i can send em in and they'll see if there is any defects but if not they'll just send em back to me.
