Okay so we are half way with the first part of the league and we have a new team in the Fall Petrolero de Yacuiba from Tarija. First time a team from el Chaco is in our league. Blooming is first and the bottom three for relegation are Guabira, Lapaz and Real Mamore. It looks like time is almost up for Real Mamore but you never know Lapaz has dropped some major points at home. So the big question is; Is Wilsterman going back to the Liga?????

The Liga is getting exciting many teams are starting to resign players many players usually move in the months of June-Aug.

Copa Aerosur is also probably not going to happen because of the financial problems of the airline.

With 5 games left and a spot in the libertadores and the sudamericana in play la Liga has a lot to play for.

I hope Oriente becomes champion, for Libertadores sake. Oriente is the only team worth anything in the league right now. but that's also because Bolivar is representing for us in Libertadores.

I can't say I've followed the league closely in a couple of seasons.

I know Bolivar is basically eating points for Libertadores glory.

I am happy it has got us this far.... with that said, is there any chance bolivar can make up for botching their success in the league if they start using their star players if their run ends soon in the libertadores? *knock on wood*

Decisive week with Blooming at top with just 30 points, San Jose with 29 and Oriente Petrolero, Aurora and National Potosi tied for third with 27. The Strongest has 26 and Bolivar is tied for 5 with Universitario at 25 pts.... with 5 weeks left both ends of the league are boiling hot. At the other end Real Mamore without a miracle will be out of the league making room for Petrolero Yacuiba. Both La-Paz FC Guabira need to win their remaining games and hope that either Universitario or National Potosi drop at least 12 points to save themselves from the playoff for relegation. If Universitario win or tie they save themselves from relegation. It's a good week to watch our league. :D

Okay, so after todays games San Jose is up top with 32 pts, followed by Blooming, and Aurora with 30 pts, Oriente follows with 28 pts. What surprised me this round is that Bolivars B team beat Nacional Potosi with ten men(Quinones the golie was red carted at the end of the first half). I am not sure but i think our league has a rule that if a team whent to copa libertadores like tigre and bolivar, then they are not allowed to go to copa sudamericana for the second half of the year, so even if bolivar and tigre get up to 2nd or 3rd place they dont get the privilege, it would go to a team beneath them. Like i said am not too sure but i remember reading that somewhere, please correct me if am wrong.

thats true, i read it somewhere too. They still can, but only and only if they become champions in both tourneys. so for Bolivar to play sudamericana they would also have to become champion now.

    1st place = Bolivia 1Group Stage Copa Libertadores 2013
    2nd place = Bolivia 3Qualifying stage Copa Libertadores 2013
    3rd pace = Bolivia 1Copa Sudamericana 2013
    4th palce = Bolivia 4Copa Sudamericana 2012

-If Bolivar or The Strongest get 4th spot, considering the change of scheduale in the Bolivian League I would think the rules would be a little different for this time only, but we'll see what the FBF says if the situation presents itself. (also, its the first time we get a 4th spot in Sudamericana, so idk if former rules apply to new spot)

    Good instincts fuego.

The guy in charge of these supposed transfers is none other than Mr Silvio Fontana.

    Who?

He's best known for being the guy to secure Diego Maradonna for that Arab club in Dubai (thanks to his connection with Jose Castillo). Locally he's known as the guy that sent Nacho over to Portugal then to Greece, Christian Diaz to Poland, Choco Rivero over to China, Nachito Garcias whole mess with Aurora, Anderson Gonzagas whole mess with Blooming and many others. Gonzaga at the last minute picked a different offer than the one Fontana had lined up for him so he vindictively and falsely claimed that Bloomings president was stealing money from the player and used it to buy himself a car. For his troubles, Mr Fontana was visited by a couple of chiflados who slapped him around a bit. Mr Fontana miraculously came to his senses and publicly apologized for talking serious crap out of his ass.

He's also the guy that "exposed" Galindos "real" passport and started his whole age scandal when he was about to sign with Arsenal. He admits that he cooperated and helped falsify ages and that he was also involved in falsifying Galindos, he claims Galindo is five years older. He throws Galindo under the bus every chance he gets all because Galindos dad decided to sign with the English agents instead of him (good choice btw). Worst part is he now wants to be the guy to clean things up in Bolivia with regards to age falsification. LMAO, the self admitted liar is now going to switch teams and be on the other end. That's like Victor Conte of the steroid BALCO scandals who is now the self appointed industry watch dog. He's a real slimy character who is apparently now living larger than he could have ever imagined before (thanks to the Maradonna deal)

Highly recommend reading this article. I love how he clarifies that he's not an agent and is not going to become one any time soon. Gee, I wonder why? Would it have to do with being able to operate without regulations and oversight and conducting business in this shady third party industry? Naaaaah, Fontana is a stand up guy.

    http://www.fmbolivia.net/noticia281...-maradona-firmara-el-contrato-de-su-vida.html

Here he is after he was visited by some Chiflados, he publicly apologized shortly after.

Jesus, before I even finished reading your article... I asked myself how did this guy get a license to be an agent???

But then with this whole third party thing... thats a loop whole I'd assume!!!

    SOoooo shady

The Strongest played ugly and also the barra is a little out of hand, they launched three fire crackers at the Cholis goalie. But The Strongest got the W!!!!! 1-0 baby, I got give to you cholis, your youth team is good. That pretty much kills all of Bolivars chances of placing for an international cup right? With this win el tigre still has a chance at winning the league!!

1 week left, we have mid week and weekend games there are 4 teams fighting for the championship, San Jose leads the pack and only depends of themselves. With a win midweek or this weekend and San Jose are Champions. Oriente plays SJ this Wednesday, Oriente needs to beat SJ and win their last game this weekend and hope The Strongest beat SJ. The Strongest needs the same as Oriente but they need Oriente to lose their last game and the strongest needs big wins they need at least 7 goals to overtake SJ differential. Real Potosi needs a little more. At the other end Real Mamore is out, now the fight is between Lapaz and Guabira for who can avoid Wilsterman. I think Destroyer is a good team but you have to fight against history when your facing Wilsterman. I hope Lapaz can stay in the liga they are playing inconsistently but when they are on all cylinders they are an awesome team to watch. So that is a review of the Liga, Oh one more thing i been reading a possibility of stretching the liga to 14 or 16 teams. Guess who's idea that is, I think it's a preemptive effort just in case Wilsterman don't win the playoff into the liga. But's that just me talking.

San Jose lost last night 2-1 to Oriente, that means that the champion will be decided this weekend. The strongest must win tonight to stay in contention, and we must win big at least by 4. Oriente plays National Potosi this weekend OP needs to win and San Jose lose to the Strongest Oriente will be champions. So the international awards look pretty much still up in the air

Here we go guys the decisive week in Bolivian futbol. All games are at 4pm on Sunday. games to watch. TS vs SJ; OP vs NP. If sanjose tie or win they are the champs. If OP win and SJ lose then OP are Champs, if OP loses and the TS beat SJ then my Tigre are Bi-campeones. Questions for my choli buddies wtf happen in sucre with bolivar why did they even show up, they started with 7 players and few min in the game one of the guys gets injuried and can't continue WTF? I'm sorry but that is very disrespectful to the bolivaristas in sucre and to futbol fans in general who bought their tickets with their hard ern Money. Any insight ???? Why not show up with a full squad or just not show up all?????

Congrats Tigre. Hope they do well on the next Libertadores, first lets see if they can keep the team together. They got to hold on to Escobar, that has to be priority number one!

So Wilsterman just won 1-0 against Guabira and is going back to first division, I'm happy cuz it's my dad's team, but wow... cannot believe the curruption in our league!! Guabira had no chance in this game or the one before in Cochabamba! The referees wore Wilster's jersey the whole time!!! I guess having Wilsterman means more money for the league considering its fan base...again WOW.

Did you see the games? I didn't get a chance to see the final games, but do you have examples that the refs made biased calls against GuabirĂ¡?

Here are the highlights - it looks like both teams missed good chances:

I watch the second and third game with my dad. on the second game Guabira scored in the first half but the ref called it offside which it wasnt at all, and on the play previous to Wilster's first goal there was a clear penalty in favor of Guabira that wasn't called (you can watch the highlights in videobolivia), and on both games the refs gave a lot of fouls to Wilster and didnt call fouls against Wilster in plays close to their goalie. On this last game the ref didnt give yellow cards when Wilster was clearly wasting time. I think its funny how La Liga doesnt assign these games to our best (FIFA) "refs".

I'm happy Wilsterman is coming back to first division, and they we clearly better than Guabira in this last game, but I dont like the favoring/corruption around.

Real Tropico FC to represent Cochabamba(specifically Chapare) in the league now. Has anyone else heard/read about this?
