analisis dela prensa internacional (non bolivia- non costa rica)

The group is so open that either way it would've been a bad/good result for Argentina.

Campbell looks promising for the Ticos.

We also beat Chile at Copa America.

That was what? 7 years ago? Are you seriously using stats from a game that took place almost 2 WC cycles ago to attempt to back up your argument? You seriously cannot be that moronic.

Being in argentina, I'd say messi is already home, but his real "home" is Barcelona...

And about Bolivia: After the Argentina game, I hoped Bolivia had finally turned the page and become a real contender, but after the CR game it's really just more of the same :(

it begs the (ongoing) question: do they/will they ever win outside of La Paz?

I can't believe Marcelo Martins is the best attacker they've got. If he can't finish, and can't help build an attack, then he's just wasting space for someone else.

I don't see any other claim that you make other than 'concacaf is crap to conmebol no matter what', which was promptly refuted. The facts remain, Chile was defeated by Costa Rica at an official competition. Does it really hurt that much for you? Try growing up for a change.

He was probably wrong, but last night "el profe" Bracamontes said something to the lines of "Bolivia nunca ha ganado un partido fuera de su pais en Copa America"

Correct him if he's wrong :D or me for misunderstanding him...

Not at all. In fact, I don't mind the CONMEBOL vs. CONCACAF argument.

That being said, bringing up matches from 7 years ago is pretty useless. I mean Uruguay knocked Costa Rica out of qualifying for the WC. Or does that one hurt still?

See? A lot more recent: bring up something that actually makes sense (e.g.: from the last 4-5 years) and perhaps you will be taken seriously.

    Cheers.
