Re: BOLIVIA Sub-20 Thanks for the link fuego, one thing they got wrong though is the Zabala kid from Israel didn't make the team So that's Pontons(Milan) and Zabala(Ramat Isr), two kids who were supposed to feature for our team who did not make the final cut for whatever reason. Add to that Sabja getting kicked off for discipline and our injuries and oi vey. I think it's a little odd that Galindo, the youngest on the team, is being named captain of the squad by the coach. I don't like it, he's not even a pro. One of the older more experienced guys like Verduguez should be captain. I think the coach is letting Galindos size influence him too much. The coach doesn't inspire confidence in me, but oh well let's hope for the best.

I can't imagine its very extensive as I remember as early as three months ago him being in Chile? taking some coaching classes or the way they described it as "cursos de actualizacion" Maybe it was just to get some certificate, I really don't know. Lorgio Suarez (U Catolica) was the captain in the Sub 17 championships in Ecuador, and Verduguez has played on the full national team and other guys on the team are full starters on their teams yet a 16yr old first time call up is the captain?.....hmmm.....odd.
Re: BOLIVIA Sub-20 It also says that it's Galindo's first time international tourney and first call to the national team, but we know he played last year's sub 17 in Peru. ? One of the reasons I could see for him to be the captain is that they're giving priority to the process they have going w/ the sub-17. But it'd take experience over anything else.

Re: BOLIVIA Sub-20 Sub 20 was able to play a quick friendly with Peru in their layover in Lima. Re: BOLIVIA Sub-20 Defense is key for any sport. All my hopes of Bolivia performing well is gone. One starting defender missing is bad. Two starting defenders missing? I don't think I can watch these games. Well, at least Bolivia has an idea where their weakness may be in defense after this warm up. The quote "A good offense is a good defense" won't fair well with the teams in our group.
