the ref was dogging Ledesma. I paid attention to every obvious foul he didn't call and that goal we had. so pissed...

    Final, Tigre 2 Boca 1.

Tough loss. I thought Boca did enough to win in the 2nd half, but Tigre played a smart game and took advantage of their chances, with a bit of luck in the last goal, but props to them.

Fortunately we're still in first, but what a lost opportunity to put some space! Oh well. Hopefully with Roman and/or Pochi back we'll play better.

Tough way to lose but Tigre played well.We played ok really overall but Silva's lack of goal scoring form is becoming a concern. His general play and workrate is great but we need him to put the ball in the net!! Laverni was poor I have to say some blatant non calls

Ugh... And to think the whole week they have been like "Does Boca play better without Riquelme? Yeah dude! Look at X and Y matches!", what will they bring up now? I bet they will bring up the complaints of Falcioni last week about Laverni being the referee.

Then again Laverni tried hard to not show Ledesma the 5th yellow, the wind up after the disallowed goal likely deserved it.

Also karma's a bitch once more, an ex-chaca scored on Tigre.:p

That was a great game, the paly was non-stop, the hinchas on both sides were loud and perpetually involved.

It was on GolTv here in the US with absolutely nothing but NHL playoffs on other channels.

Anyone new to futbol Awrgentino that atched this game WILL want to see more.

A great show for La Primera.

    Y ......................... DALE NEWELL'S, LPM!!!!

I never said that anyone should be blamed but the ref's decisions did favor Tigre for that latter part of the game when things were turning around for us.

Laverni was bad all-around, for example in the own goal there were at least two penalties being committed, Schiavi was doing one of them.

Then again they may have enough to talk about of Boca's players coming down from the bus to fight with Tigre supporters that were insulting them...

yeah he was but in more vital times for us. Ledesma and Silva were getting held the whole game far worse than any Tigre player It wasn't the most blantantly violent game but I saw what I saw and it wasn't in favor of us.

Laverni simply sucked. Tigre played well, but they also did get some lucky breaks. Oh well, it happens.

Yeah I never discredited Tigre's victory but some people take it up the bum when we speak out. Whatever it's Boca's thread anyway..

Singling out Laverni? I think as a whole the entirety of the officiating this torneo more so than in recent times has been absolute garbage. Yesterday was far from the exception.

I don't mind the physical play but some of what he called or actually didn't call went both ways, I know there were a few times in which I was shocked we didn't pick up card let alone a lecture. It almost seemed obvious that he had some issue with Ledesma and couple of times I thought Pablito's mouth was going to get the best of him. That said, Laverni showed no bias, his suckage was evenly distributed to both teams.

With Pezzotta being the top of the line for Argentine refs, it looks like the rest are trying to live down...er up to his level.
