Apparently, Falcioni will be fielding a reserve team, in anticipation of the return leg of the Libertadores, and it should go something like this:
Sebastián Sosa; Facundo Roncaglia, Gastón Sauro, Matías Caruzzo y Juan Sánchez Miño; Cristian Chávez, Exequiel Benavídez y Guillermo Fernández; Leandro Paredes; Pablo Mouche y Nicolás Blandi

The recambio is in full swing. Falcioni is saving the starters for the trip to Chile and will trust the kids in Santa Fe, as Boca tries to stay in first place. This is a great chance to watch the kids from the cantera. Paredes will be the enganche and Benavidez the DM. Mouche and Blandi will be the forwards, and Roncaglia is back from injury and will play at the right full back spot. Interestingly, Pochi Chavez is expected to play on the right side of midfield, in place of the injured Pablo Ledesma.

    Likely lineup (4-3-1-2)

Sebastián Sosa; Roncaglia, Caruzzo, Sauro y Sánchez Miño; Chávez, Benavídez y Guillermo Fernández; Leandro Paredes; Mouche y Blandi.

    AGUANTE BOCA!!!

:D Yeah, you posted just seconds after my post. You did clear up one thing for me though. I wasn't sure where Chavez & Paredes were going to line up. I thought Pochi was the default backup at enganche. I guess with Ledesma out, he wants to save Rivero for Wednesday.

Yes. Also I'm thinking with Ledesma out a few games he wants to try Chavez in that position, in case he needs a more offensive option instead of Rivero. It wouldn't surprise me to see Roman and Pochi playing together at some point.

I like the line-up to be honest, especially for a reserve team. Benavidez is the guy I'm really hoping steps up big time now that he's playing in the DM role. With Seba having injury problems and Somoza with nicks and cards seems to be a position of need right now. Erbes is slowing coming around but I'm still not satisfied with his play for us.

This game wont be getting my full attention but it should be fun since its important. Boca doesnt need to bring their A game to get 3 here so it should be a nice spot to see the youngins play.

Blandi has gotta compose himself in that situation, he got taken care of right after though. Obviously its harder in game speed but thats why he's a pro is because he can convert that goal. Wonderful pass to set up that goal, which was not an easy shot in any way.

Good first half hustle by Chavez. He began shaky at first but then he turns his spontaneous energy into something. What a pass from Blandi to Mouche for the goal!

Blandi is definitely not match sharp...might cost us 2 points in the end.

How do you guys think Benavidez has played? Any chance he could step in and contribute in the Libertadores? Apparently, Ray Hudson likes the game Sauro is having so far. I can't really tell because I've had to step in and out.

    Que golazo de Blandi!

I'm not going to enter the controversy of whether or not that corner kick should have been kicked to begin with, but it was definitely a nice goal..

Final Boca 2 Atletico Rafaela 2.

Bittersweet. Boca really should have won this game, they had enough chances to put it to rest. But they didn't do it and Rafaela came back strong. In the end we were very fortunate to get one point.
