I saw a piece on Boz on Fox 5 news last night and they said the results are being announced today in New York. Any of you regular Cosmo website visitors feel free to post the results. Oddly enough, I am firewalled at work to Cosmo's website. What is a straight guy to do?

William couldn't get on either - the parental controls said it contained "sex education!"

I was under the assumption he didn't win it, and that one of the reasons was because it will cause him to miss a couple days from training prior to the playoffs.

Ooopsss...should that have been in result code?

I tried searching the Cosmo website and found myself looking at the "V-Zone Odor Detector"...SHIVER.

Do what I did and run a google news search. And nothing new came up when I did so a few minutes ago.

OK, as it was announced who did win last night (the Colorado dude) I guess I can spill that Bobby mentioned to me at the reception on Monday that he didn't win (he did get a ton of votes but along with those it was a panel decision). Part of the gig including being in NYC for 3 days this week but Bobby chose the opportunity to win MLS Cup over a magazine cover spread (I think he chose wisely!)

Yeah, well, this sucks. Not that he made the wrong decision - just that he had to make it. The team and league promoted the heck out of this voting, got the nation's soccer fans involved, and then abandoned the contest just when the exposure would have been the greatest. Cosmo loses some face by having to name their second-place guy as the winner. Bos gives up a prize package worth half of his entire year's salary. Surely the league knew about the magazine launch date before they submitted his name as a nominee. They should have picked someone who would have been available for the key three days. McTavish, McIntosh, Nickell - any of them could have gone without hurting the team's post-season preparations. But now, that potential free publicity is lost. Sucks!

Nice rant, but how do you know Bobby would have won?

Well, he was OBVIOUSLY the best candidate, Matt!

I'm glad I don't have to go near that website again, though. Yeesh.

Sorry, I neglected the dreaminess factor.

    I stand corrected.

He did seem to be the only candidate who posed with his shirt on!

For others who feel cheated I wouldn't be. Boz didn't take this seriously at all (as seen in his video) but he was very serious when he said he wanted to win the cup.
