Why should Shahktar really try to beat Juve now? Shahktar are already in. What do they have to play for?
Would Juve win the group if they beat Shahktar? If so, if I'm Shahktar, I'd really try to win to avoid Barca, RM, ManU, etc.
they do have that incentive but I just see a very boring draw written all over this one hopefully I am wrong and Shakhtar win 16-0
Shoddy work from BBC radio who just reported that Schalke were 4-0 up on Olympiakos. It is in fact 0-0. Schalke 04 have not yet scored
How many Liverpool fans does it take to screw in a light bulb? None, they just sit around reminiscing about the last one.
Epic douchiness right there. He got fined. Technically, he didn't break any rules...so he was fined for unsportsman-like conduct.
the last time something similar happened which I can recall a replay was forced but since it may benefit us I fully expect that not to happen
also, what that video doesnt show is that after the goal, the shaktar players basically stood still and were letting Nord equalize, but Adriano started to yell at them and told them not to, so they went back to defending. So hes a double douchebag.
Good to know that after all the recent upsurge in racism that the Lazio fans have found time to insert extreme violence into their repertoire. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...t-breaks-out-with-armed-Lazio-supporters.html I know I sound like a broken record on this but i am sick and tired of the double standard. If this had been lazio fans stabbed in London you can bet your last pound that English clubs would receive heavy sanctions. Once again I will be shocked if anything happens. And don't tell me that because it happened outside of the stadium nothing can be sanctioned. When English clubs were banned, the in stadium crap was just the tipping point, it was behavior outside the stadiums that contributed. This type of event disgusts me and it happens far too often in the southern European countries for this to be considered a one-off. If I were a fan of these clubs, I'd be angrier than anyone of the negative impact.
clearly you have your priorities wrong taking a hardline on rich owners and ensuring an even balance sheet is fair more important than being concerned about the safety of fans, officials and policemen
or being out later at halftime than the required time the sad part is that we all know why UEFA/FIFA looks the other way
Not exactly football-related, but a Welshman has been arrested for singing "I'd rather cut my ********ing arm off than be English" on a bus after a wedding. The ******** are you guys doing over there?!?
That's the wrong question. The right question is when will Peter Herbert and the Society of Black Lawyers make a statement on this issue?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20386628 this was the sacking many of us expected. While they continue to push the cause of 'Arry I would not be suprised to see RDM in the mix for this one.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20463697 good for Lambert. Amazing that Fergie does the same and does not receive any punishment. and speaking of Bacon Face here he is keeping his thoughts to himself on Clattenberg "I did not believe it anyway. The unfortunate thing for Mark is that he has had to carry that stain for the last few weeks. "Everyone in the game is pleased for him now - apart from Chelsea." what a twat
