You guys need to think this out before you type that crap. A fit DvB sold us out in our last CL final and 100% fit VB is still slower than jizz flowing down a computer monitor (ok probably didn't have to go there).

He hasn't played for months, and with basically one game left before(cup) DvB is suppose to come in a save us. :ROFLMAO:

Tymo has 3 games (past, this and Cup) to get up to speed. He is defensively solid but just has to remember that he is now the last man, and to keep his concentration regarding his positioning.

Chelsea's best chances will be on set pieces and counter attacks. On set pieces, DvB would have been better but we can make up for this by playing Bastien and/or Gomez on Drogba who will be their biggest aerial threat.

On the break DvB is plain useless and I'll take Tymo chasing down a play any day over Tymo.

Contento over Pranjic however just kills me

I wouldn't want to see the state of your monitor when we beat Chelsea.

Either way, it's not perfect. Tymoschuk who can very easily go AWOL, or DvB who might leave his brain in the dressing room. I would go for Tymo just because he has had the chance to get up to speed, but DvB may be an interesting gamble. Note my words "interesting" and "gamble" here - there's no way I want to be seen to be endorsing this selection.

About Contento, I wouldn't count the chickens there. He is probably just being tested in this game, and in truth he hasn't done that badly. It's worthwhile giving him a run-out, though I would pick Pranjic at LB. With Contento playing this game I think Jupp is going to go with one of these two options - I think we can safely rule out Lahm switching to the left and Rafinha coming on at RB.

Many of us have already said it and I will say it again - Alaba is a massive loss, and more so for the fact that his yellow card against Real was simply the wrong decision.

Contento and Tymo were poor there, esp Contento one wonders what he was doing as he let him jog past him for an easy goal.

Ah come on, if the very same situation happens to Alaba everybody'd say that it was Tymoshchuks fault for letting Podolski pass by him so easily. What should Contento do, push a 30kg heavier player (Novakovich) aside?
