    First Reich?

Despite the musical contributions it should also be noted that the father of eugenics is from Brumland.

Well if you looked in the mirror every morning and saw that face you might have yer doubts too :D
Hmmm.. good question. I'm guessing about 60 grand as well. Unfortunately that'll be worth about 20p
Except me. My mum wouldn't allow it.
Dunno about you but I'm true English working class Monkee. We have our own versions of stuff.
Always partial to this lot in my 'yoof'.

Promising youngster = time will tell

In the meantime we play the gooners - Personally at this point in the season with our present form I'd be happy with a point . . .sad but true

I may even be allowed to post in The Chelsea Forum [other version] soon.

Although maybe I shall decide to stay here? This cyber squatting is kinda fun.

Supah's back so we might surprise them but, as you say, maybe that's a bit hopeful under the circumstances.

Heard a lot about that kid but never seen him play... anyone?

    Superstitious

Not really superstitious by nature but has anyone else noticed how shitty Chelsea have been doing since I was banned from the Chelsea forum?
    Spooky innit.

. . .and we all thought it was our Russian owner going bonkers and sacking Butch Wilkins eh?

    Stating the obvious

    • Chelsea should have made some better/good signings last summer - especially in the midfield area
    • We needed to sign an attacking midfield player last summer and we need one now
    • Ramires, Malouda, Kalou are not really good enough
    • wtf - Wilkins why?
    • Is Roman the real problem with Chelsea FC at the moment? More interested in buying art for his new girlfriends Moscow gallery?
    • Can we get Steve Clarke back now?
    • Don't feel that we'll win the league this year BUT we better make sure we stay in the top four [Roman get your wallet out]
    • Ancelotti just seems really lost

    Re: Stating the obvious

Yeah, we've shot ourselves in the foot I'd say. TBH if Carlo thinks Ramires was someone worth signing I question his judgement a little, based on current evidence.

    Re: Stating the obvious

Ramires? Plays for Brazil has to be worth 20 million quid right? I think we could do with a creative Brazilian player, but Ramires was never one of those creative players was he? We need - have needed for some time now - creative midfield players and if they can't be creative well at least be sturdy and a little creative [see Ballack].

To be fair we handed them those two quick goals. Other than in the second half they did nothing. Trouble is neither did we. Nothing. We created nothing. I have problems with the way that we play. There seems to be no urgency. No Quick interchange of the football. I like the young Mc for his quick feet [although he is not really a creative/attacking midfield player]. Carlo's team reminds me of the Italian teams of years ago 2-1 down ten minutes to go and passing back to the keeper and knocking the ball around at the back. The problem is not due to the loss at Arsenal but all the games beforehand. All is not lost and massive spending in a weak transfer Market may not be the answer. The answer has to come from within surely?

Our attacking midfield problems need to be resolved. Malouda and Kalou I count as attacking mids - very poor quality at this point. Arsenal had Arshavin on the bench and he would walk into our first team at the moment. Basically we failed to sign an attacking creative midfield player in the summer when we let go Deco, Cole and Ballack and now we are paying the price. Oh yeah. . .I forgot. We did sign some injury prone tosser, but even if that injury prone player was fit, would he have ever have been good enough? Really? Would he? Or to put it another way : Would that injury prone tosser that we signed have been good enough to play for Arsenal or would he even have displaced Arshavin on the Arsenal bench? I think we all know the embarrassing truth about Chelsea FC is that we signed a shit injury prone player because our owner wanted to sign him [for his own personal reasons, see Ben Haim, Shevchenko, Smertin, Zhirkov, etc.].

    Re: Stating the obvious

Give it a rest Monkee. Yes we signed a shit 30+ year old injury prone attacking midfield player useless fcucking waste of time who may well have cost us the chance of winning anything this season and yes we gave him the no.10 shirt. Yes it was a huge freaking mistake for the club and yes had we signed a younger/fitter/better quality player in the summer - a real signing - we would not be in such a freaking mess right now = yes you were right all along. Yes. So what! What do you want a medal?

How do we get out of this mess now?

What attacking midfield player can we sign now? In the January transfer window? Slim pickings innit. What are the alternatives here?

Maybe the 20 million quid Zhirkov (Romans previous vanity project) may well get fit and come good and score a second goal for the club. . .

TBH I think Yossi would be making a contribution now. At least, more than Malouda and Esien have been doing in the past month or so.

You do realise you're not SUPPOSED to score points, right? LOL

BTW, what did you make of Frank's performance in arse match? I thought he did well enough bearing in mind how long he's been out.

Man, we've missed that guy. :(
