    What a stroke of luck.

I cancelled my order for the new shirt on Monday at what goes up on Ebay? The greatest B&W shirt we've ever had. The simple black and white with the Newcastle Brown Ale sponsor. Bid on that one instead and I should win it in the next few hours.

    ******** you Freddy Shepherd.

    From the Sunday Sun:

"The sports retail tycoon has budgeted an incredible £270 MILLION for winning the Premiership within three years and challenging for the Champions League within five years.

And although Allardyce will be given £45 million to spend this summer, he will be expected to push for Champions League qualification next season . . ."

It also says he'll give Sam one year to prove he's the guy. I found some other stuff in the piece about FFS more interesting, however.

Ha! No I'm not. I detest buying things on ebay actually. It's just generally not a good idea to post "oh dang, i've got a bid on the most awesome thing" on a board of likeminded people before the deal is final. :D

Yes congrats ... I absolutely love this kit.

What you can't see in the picture is the subtle (? can't think of the right word) newcastle united crest throughout the fabric, just brilliant.

If reports in the Guardian are to be believed, Mike Ashley effectively will run the club beginning tomorrow.

Only from Fat Fred. I'd wager that the supporters are behind Fat Mike. Seriously, his golden pockets are already lined with silver so he has no need to take every last pound out of the club.

    Thx,

    Jay!

I call shenanigans on all of this! Arsene Wenger's next move won't be to the Toon and David Dein is working with Kronke on purchasing the Gooners. Silly season English paper rumors.
