I'm glad his physique maintains a club tradition. Seriously though somebody must know someone that's worked for one of his companies before?! I want to know more about this guy.

Atleast he's European, even better that he's English. I'd rather have someone worth £2 billion than some dodgy thai blokey worth £10 billion

And you only use the socks when you think about women! :p

Very nice pic in the avatar. Pretty much sums up the game.

    Thx,

    Jay!

One more reason I love Newcastle. Even though I am fat and show it in the jersey, I know that somewhere in Newcastle there is a fatter guy wearing the same thing.

Says he also owns part of Umbro as well. God those would be ugly kits.

I am kind of torn here. He definitly has money which is good, he's not putting us in debt like ManU with Glazer. But his lack of desire to be public has me a little concerned. If he simply let's football people come in and make the decisions and enjoys the success from afar, I can live with that though.

Question is though, can he unseat FF is the question though.

i think its good that he is quiet, i mean look at fat freddy hanging out of his car like an ass... if i was rich i wouldnt go around showing it all off, its called "CLASS" he dosent have to act rich, he is.

i also read somewhere that he recently sold one of his companies for 900mill.
that means cash to buy nufc and money for transfers.

the guy is smart, he has his hand in all of the sportsworld, it looks like he owns a small percent of several companies.

how funny would it be if he fired fat freddy!:D

    hey, prayers do come true!

Here is a story that basically says that FFS is going to fight Ashley's takeover bid tooth and nail, but that he'll probably fail in doing so.

I'm curious if the rumor is true that he already has a stake somehow in the smaller percentage of shares that were not held by the Halls or FF, which in essense would put him over 50% already.

Usually I am against big buyouts of football clubs, but I'm so happy about this. FF must have been so shocked it put him in hospital, HA! Hope he gains complete control and removes the club from the stock exchange, just wish it had happened before SA was appointed.
