Bill Gaudette Puerto Rican National Team

Since 2008, they have a 2 year residency requirement. Gaudette played for the Islanders for 3 years so he met that requirement. Saunders only played 1 year for the Islanders, so he doesn't meet that requirement which is why he hasn't played for Puerto Rico since 2008.

 

Aren't PR eliminated from qualification already? What's the point?

Relax - this is a low key board. Thread nazi's are few and far between. I *think* Hachiko was just making an interesting observation and not intending to criticize.
FWIW, I think this recycling a thread is better than thread proliferation, but that's just me.

 

yeah thanks, I'm inclined to always recycle when I can...but there are these nitpicky thread folks who always go completely bonkers when there is any necro going on. But yet I've seen the Mods remove new threads with no explanation as if the money for a new thread comes out of their pocket. Sometimes BS can be a strange place.
