Here's our 2012 WC qualifying schedule (starting tomorrow, ending on the 18th): vs. Belgiums vs. Norway vs. Spain First off, all the games are in Sarajevo which will be a major advantage for us. Home crowd throughout the whole group stage. Secondly, the schedule is very favorable for us. A small test against Belgium irst, then the minnow in Norway. Finally, we play Spain last which is good because we'll probably know if we're through or not by then, and we'll have many options for what to do in the match i.e.: rest stars, play all-out, etc. Can''t wait to play Belgium tomorrow.
Bosnia beats Belgium 2:1 ! Spain rocked Norway 8:0 We play Norway tomorrow. This was a huge win because Belgium was our biggest competitor for 2nd place.
We lost to Norway, 2:1 yesterday. It looks bad but they scored a goal in the last minute after we got our captain red-carded. We are still second though, by goal difference. If we either A) beat Spain or B) or Norwaty loses to Belgium or C) we draw with Spain and Norway draw/lose to Belgium The most likely situatuion is B, and I really belive it'll happen.
Well, on Sunday, welost to Spain 6:0 and Norway drew 3:3 with Belgium. So the standings look like this - 1) Spain - 9 pts 2) Norway - 4 pts ------------------ 3) Bosnia - 3 pts 4) Belgium - 1 pt And we're out. . .
2013 WC Qualifying BiH 31:29 Greece So, with the very important win, we now stand first in our qualifying group where first place advances to the play-offs to get into the World Championship. STANDINGS 1) Bosnia - 6 2) Greece - 4 3) Cyprus - 0 Last Game: vs. Greece away.
Today is the big day! Here's a link I found for those who will watch along with me: http://www.usagoals.com/live/52073-...tream/online/free/feed/p2p/en/vivo/tv/gratis/ Predictions? I think we will win by a slim margin, just like the last game we played against the Greeks. Can someone help me find the time, btw? Thanks in advance.
It is still unkown. It will be one of the team from Euro 2012 for sure, though. Spain (hosts) and France (current champions) recieve automatic qualification to WC 2013. So do the three best finishers at EHF Euro 2012, other than them. The rest of the Euro teams will play Austria, Belarus, us, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, and Portugal in a play-off. We'd have a good chance if we drew one of the worse teams from Euro 2012. This will be our second time in a World Cup qualifying play-off, and fifth time including Euros and World Cups together. As you could probably tell, we have had a good history in handball.
Navijači Maribora sljedbenici koljača Ratka Mladića i Radovana Karadžića http://www.scsport.ba/v2/tekst.php?ID=32508 -- Maribor beat Gradacac in the Challenge Cup and their fans shouted things like "Noz, Zica, Srebrenica." Truly sickening. I hope the EHF takes measures. By the way, this is the Final 16 of the Challenge Cup. The return match is February 18 in Gradacac. The team that wins goes to the QF.
